About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in React and Node.js, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Strong expertise in React (frontend) and Node.js (backend).

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).

Familiarity with production systems and cloud services (AWS / GCP).

Strong grasp of OOP / FP and clean coding principles (e.g., SOLID).

Hands-on with Docker, and good to have exposure to Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Redis.

Experience or interest in AI APIs & tools is a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus: Contributions to open-source projects.

• Working knowledge of React JS
• Working knowledge of Redux, ES6, and Webpack.
• Good knowledge of OOP development and design patterns.
• Experience in debugging the application.
• Experience in handling browser compatibility issues.
• Good to have a working knowledge of NodeJS, Express, MongoDB/SQL.
• Must have expertise in unit testing (Jasmine/Mocha/Karma/Jest).
• Working knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3.
• Working knowledge of any CSS preprocessor- SASS, LESS, Stylus
• Experience in integrating front-end code with server-side technology like MVC (good to have).
• Responsible for communication with the clients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related discipline is NOT MANDATORY. Skills and passion to build products that people love are mandatory. :)
• Minimum 3 years of working experience.
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Full-stack experience working with backend programming languages as we believe engineers can do anything and everything and so everyone at Emitrr works full-stack.
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, StrongLoop, etc depending on your technology stack)
• Good understanding of React.js and its core principles with experience with working on popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Experience in building performant mobile apps in iOS or Android on react native is a plus

Proficient in Java 8 Version, J2EE and related technologies.
• Experienced in using spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, messaging systems.
• Good understanding of relational database performance concepts and usage of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
• Expert understanding of the object-oriented design and programming concepts
• Strong working experience  on Data Structures, Algorithms and Collections.
• Solid experience building applications on top of RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge/experience with Spring MVC
• Stroing knowledge in developing and executing automated unit, functional and integration tests
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Strong trouble shooting skills

Have at least 2 years of experience with two or more development languages. Experience

working on Python is a MUST and that on JAVA is nice to have.

• Experience in building web platform with Angular 9+ (React could be an alternative) is a MUST
• Experience in building applications with containerization like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in writing relatively complex DB queries (preferably SQL Server, MySQL). Experience working on No-SQL DB is nice to have.

• Experience in building RESTful APIs using Python and web frameworks such as Spring MVC, Flask
• Experience in working in any of the ORM tools like SQLAlchemy, SQLObject, Storm, Django
• Skillful in writing high-quality, well-tested code
• Proficient in Object-Oriented programming
• Comfortable with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban
• Experience in working with JavaScript frameworks (such as ag-Grid, D3) to build in-app reports is nice to have
