Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the manual testing efforts of the QA team in an Agile development environment.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and execute test cases.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, plans, and reports.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on test progress, defect status, and quality metrics to higher authorities.
- Perform Functional, Non-Functional, GUI testing, Smoke, Sanity testing, Performance testing, Pen Testing, Monkey testing, Retesting & Regression testing.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
- To prepare daily Sprint reports.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in software testing and QA methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing and QA, with a focus on manual testing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a team lead managing at least 5 team members in an Agile development environment
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology.
- Experience with testing web-based applications, mobile applications, and APIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with test management tools, such as JIRA, AIO, Trello, etc.
