As a Video Editor at Sublime Life, Bangalore you will.
Closely work with the Creative Head to lead a specific brand's videos and build a strong brand message and conceptualize the development of various videos for campaigns and programs.
Essential Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities
- In charge of editing videos for all social media platforms where Sublime Life uses video content.
- He/She should be well versed in making performance advertisements videos.
- Should be updated with the latest / modern editing styles/techniques.
- Should hold knowledge of linear and non-linear editing styles.
- Thinking on new formats and templates for videos.
- He/She should have an eye for good typography style.
Required Skillset for this position would be
- 3- 4 years of experience in video editing. (Beauty industry experience is a plus)
- Should be well versed with Adobe creative suite.
- Must hold a degree in Design. (Alumni from Design Institute will have a bonus)
- Strong conceptualization and visualization skills.
- An excellent understanding of visual design disciplines (typography, composition, iconography, colour, layouts)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.

Skills and Requirements
- 8- 15 years of experience building and scaling APIs and web applications.
- Experience building and managing large scale data/analytics systems.
- Have a strong grasp of CS fundamentals and excellent problem solving abilities. Have a good understanding of software design principles and architectural best practices.
- Be passionate about writing code and have experience coding in multiple languages, including at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
- Be able to argue convincingly why feature X of language Y rocks/sucks, or why a certain design decision is right/wrong, and so on.
- Be a self-starter—someone who thrives in fast paced environments with minimal ‘management’.
- Have experience working with multiple storage and indexing technologies such as MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elastic.
- Good knowledge (including internals) of messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Use the command line like a pro. Be proficient in Git and other essential software development tools.
