UX Designer

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and help shape the user experience and interface of our digital products. As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **User Research:** Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.

2. **Wireframing and Prototyping:** Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize design concepts and interactions.

3. **UI Design:** Design visually stunning user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and intuitive to use.

4. **UX Design:** Develop user journeys, information architecture, and interaction design to optimize the overall user experience.

5. **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and QA testers to ensure design requirements are met.

6. **Feedback Integration:** Gather feedback from users and stakeholders and iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing results.

7. **Brand Consistency:** Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all digital products and platforms.

8. **Stay Updated:** Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.

**Requirements:**

1. Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.

2. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

3. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

4. Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.

5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

7. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

**Preferred Qualifications:**

1. Experience working in an Agile development environment.

2. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for design implementation purposes.

3. Familiarity with motion design and animation principles.

4. Experience designing for mobile platforms (iOS and Android) as well as web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Create and communicate end to end user interface design specs, including high priority and high visibility complex interaction and dialog flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes

• Single handedly drive designs and oversee the strategic and tactical deliverables related to that project

• Coordinate and plan with other functions, including identifying the appropriate UX methods and tools to use depending on project constraints. Manage stakeholder expectations

• Understand both the user behavior and the technology components (speech, natural language) that make for a natural, efficient, and reliable machine-to-human conversation

• Support and contribute to the voice talent and persona definition process for different design situations

• Conduct usability tests using prototypes and incorporate findings and usage data to refine the design

• Develop design principles and style guides to be followed in a voice-first environment to create a consistent user experience

• Work in a highly iterative and nimble environment with product managers, engineers, and recruiters to get your design shipped

Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters in Design, HCI, Cognitive Psychology, or any other related field

• 4+ years of experience as an experience designer for web/mobile or voice applications

• Hands on experience with XD, Illustrator, Photoshop (or equivalent programs)

• Deep knowledge of UX design, user research, visual design, and Service design

• Experience working cross-team while taking feedback from product management, engineering, business and marketing

• Excellent problem solving skills along with deep empathy for users

• Good experience in designing mobile interfaces and responsive desktop sites

• Excellent written and communication skills

• Fluency in English and Hindi. Added bonus if you know other Indian languages

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with conversational product design

• Creativity, logical thinking, solid design process and detailed design presentations

• Familiarity with speech and natural language processing technologies

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate user data & requirements in collaboration with product team
2. Build UX improvement hypotheses and create draft design ideas, mockups and prototypes
3. On-field surveys & testing with real / potential users and iterate the UX flow /design as per requirements
4. Build final designs and support PRD development
5. Coordinate with engineering team for development
6. Identify and troubleshoot UI/UX problems; analyze user data for improvements
7. Build & manage design library and global templates

Requirements:

1. 4+ years of experience in building B2C products 
2. Proven work experience as a UX / Interaction Designer
3. Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator, XD, Figma, Zeplin
4. Knowledge of Product Analytics tools for UX decisions, AB testing etc
5. Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

Roles and Responsibilities-

• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.

• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style and submitting them for approval.

• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.

• Coordinating with web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.

• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.

• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Photoshop.

STAGE is an OTT platform for BHARAT which serves video based entertainment in dialects (बोलयाँ). We bring traditional and new local Artists on STAGE who create content in hyperlocal genres like Ragini, Geet, Saang in dialect like haryanavi, rajasthani etc. We are on a mission to uplift the cultural roots of Bharat, by connecting/introducing dialect based content to young and adult audiences. There are 400 million ( 40 crore) Bharatwaisi who primarily speak in dialects in Bharat. We want to serve them well by providing quality content in their local culture. This is a complete remote work so good communication skills would be a strong plus for this role. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the product design function at STAGE
• Collaborate with cross functional teams like Technology, Product, Content and deliver amazing product experiences to our users
• Create user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes for STAGE on mobile, web and TV
• Conduct user research for discovering user insights aligned with the business goals
• Work closely with our users to understand and solve their pain points
• Contribute towards each stage of design thinking principles (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test, Scale) for our users

Requirements:

Required:

• A portfolio that demonstrates your visual and interaction design experience
• Strong ability to communicate, articulate your design decisions, and consider feedback from product managers, engineers and other designers
• Experience with 3D software tools like Maya, Blender, Unity, etc
• Should be well-versed in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Passionate about graphic design, typography, photography, motion, and illustration

Degree in Design, Fine Arts or a related field is a plus
