Lead UI/UX Designer

What you will do

• End-to-End Design Execution: Lead and execute all design stages from initial concept through wireframing, visual design, to final hand-off for development.
• Prototyping & Specifications: Create high-quality design prototypes, features, and specifications reflecting deep user insights and client needs.
• Review & Feedback: Critically review wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and visual designs to meet ProCreator standards and client expectations.
• Design Systems & Problem-Solving: Establish and maintain comprehensive design systems, proactively troubleshooting UX issues and incorporating feedback.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality output across projects.

Requirements

• UX Methodologies: Proficiency in research, personas, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Design Expertise: Ability to translate user journeys into visually stunning and intuitive UI designs, with a strong understanding of UI principles.
• Design Systems: Proven experience in building and utilizing design systems, with advanced skills in Figma.
• Platform Experience: Extensive experience in designing for both web applications and mobile platforms (iOS and Android) with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects on these platforms.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions to clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Willingness to mentor and support junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with motion design/prototyping tools like After Effects and ProtoPie.

TAPPP(https://tappp.com/) is building the next-generation digital platform by leveraging cell-based architecture to integrate technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Rules, Workflows, Microservices, FaaS (Function as a Service), Micro-frontends, and Micro apps to create a highly extensible and cutting-edge technology platform that brings together sports fans with broadcasters, sports teams, and sportsbooks to create a marketplace for all aspects of sports and we are available across platforms via the Web, Mobile, Roku, and Tablets.

Building out this brand presents significant product and engineering challenges. At the center of solving those challenges is the TAPPP Product Engineering team which is responsible for the TAPPP product end to end.

TAPPP is led by a very able leadership team drawn from Industry leaders from companies like ESPN, Amazon, Blackhawk, Kargocard, Visa, and

many others.

The organization is flat, processes are minimal, individual responsibility is big, and there is an emphasis on keeping non-productive influences out of the everyday technical decision-making process. Upholding these philosophies will be imperative as we execute our aggressive plan of global expansion over the next 2 years.

Position Description

As Senior Technical Product Manager on the TAPPP digital platform, you'll be responsible to:

1. Work with the US product and engineering leadership to manage SAFe agile projects, define user-stories, plan sprints, conduct standup meetings, and ensure software quality, automated testing
2. Work with the engineering leadership for resource planning, resource allocation, and project plans
3. Manage time-off and leave for the India team to ensure minimal impact to projects
4. Work with the US product and engineering leaders to conduct user-acceptance testing of the product before it goes to production
5. Work with product, engineering and support leadership in the US to implement TechOps and support strategy and ensure 24x7 coverage for the platform
6. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and align with organization short- and long-term strategy.

You'll work across various domains and with a talented group of associates spanning multiple ego-locations.

• Some experience in Television, particularly sports. Some prior experience on sports betting would be ideal but not required.

Minimum Qualifications...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area
• 10 years' experience in technical product management
• 6 years in Agile project management, sprint-planning, review test-plans building teams to deliver the projects
• Strong familiarity and 3 years experience managing cloud-native software development
• Strong familiarity with source code managing, branching, and DevOps to guide the team in automated DevOps pipeline.
• 3 years experience with cloud-native projects on AWS platform for 100 Million plus user-base.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven work experience in talent acquisition roles in startup/product companies
• Strong knowledge and experience of recruiting product, engineering roles
• Strong communication & negotiation skills

• Overall 9-16 years of experience.
• Minimum 7 years of strong consumer internet related Product and 2 years in fintech.
• Management background preferably in eCommerce /Technology/ Fintech / Banking industry.
• Understanding & having gone through the pain of what it takes to build a great product
• Passion for Results: High degree of commitment with bias for execution excellence.
• Excellent academic background and records.
• Extra-ordinary skills in crisis management, inter-personal communication, collaboration and team work.
• Master of multiple tasking.
• Takes on initiatives and challenges.
