UI/UX Designer

Steps AI is an AI platform that automates customer support and sales for e-commerce brands across websites, WhatsApp, and Instagram. We're looking for a Product Designer to own the complete design experience - from understanding user problems to shipping polished interfaces.

What you'll do:

• Own the design for our web dashboard, chat widgets, and mobile experiences end-to-end
• Map user journeys, define information architecture, and create intuitive flows
• Build wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
• Talk to real customers to understand pain points and validate design decisions
• Work directly with engineers and founders to ship fast
• Build and maintain a scalable design system

What we're looking for:

• 1-3 years as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role (SaaS or product company preferred)
• Strong Figma skills - flows, wireframes, prototypes, component libraries

Key Responsibilities:

  Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Go code.

  Implement and integrate with back-end services, databases, and APIs.

  Write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices and design patterns.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.

  Identify and address bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

  Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  Proven experience as a Golang Developer or similar role in software development.

  Proficiency in Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms.

  Experience with server-side development, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.

  Familiarity with common Go frameworks and tools such as Gin.

Knowledge implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

  Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

  Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

  Strong understanding of concurrency and parallelism in Go.

  Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Expertise in backend programming with Node.js and MongoDB.
• Experience with React.js and redux.
• Material UI and 3rd party libraries.
• Experience with clean code writing practices like avoiding callback hell like promises, async.
• Thorough understanding of Node.js and its core principles.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Familiarity with modern front-end builds pipelines and tools.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial).

Responsibilities:

• Build Node.js APIs using microservices.
• Rewriting backend code with microservices architecture & Unit tests.
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

• Should have Worked extensively on SAP developments including the Application Design and Document for Custom development, in end to end SAP Implementation.
• Preparation of Technical Spec and Unit Test documents .
• Hands on experience and extensive knowledge on RICEF (Reports , ALE/IDOC, BDC ,Userexit /Enhancements , Script )
• Extensively worked on Data Dictionary objects (tables, structures, data elements and domains)
• Basic Knowledge on ABAP Workflow .
• Knowledge on BADI , User Exits ,BDC recording.
• Performance workbench tools like Runtime Analysis and SQL trace.
• Having good exposure to functional areas like Sales Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM) .
• Should have good analytical skills and ability to quickly grasp customer requirements and convert them into Technical specifications

We are looking for a self-motivated independent thinker who can contribute to our Engineering Team. In this role you will take part in various projects, assessing software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes. You will take ownership of code quality through exploratory and automated tests. You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they’re dealt with. 

Core Responsibilities:

• You would have the opportunity to work with a number of leading edge technologies. 
• Write test cases to test code using automation frameworks, as well as create and continuously improve our test automation environment.
• Develop & maintain automated test scripts covering functional correctness using Object Oriented programming concepts, for both new features & Regression testing of existing functionality
• Understand software internals, debug code, automate repetitive tasks, and implement new tools and frameworks needed to streamline our QA process
• Work directly with both Software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand features, review technical implementations, and implement testing strategy.
• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy, design documentation for automation processes 

Skills and Expertise: 

• Minimum 4 Years’ Experience
• Knowledge and proficiency in the use of various automated tools that are used in the Automated testing procedures. Execute interactive test procedures. Proficient in writing Automation scripts.
• Sound knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages. Java and Java script
• Good knowledge of SQL queries. Practical knowledge of web-based technologies
• Proven experience with Web-application Automation testing, Mobile apps testing.
• Understanding of OO concepts & its application to Automation framework
• Willingness to proactively engage in continuous process improvement
• Ability to communicate clearly with different areas of the business.Clarity of written communication when describing and issue or QA failure
• Experience in working with an Agile Development Methodology like Scrum
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
