About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front-End Developer to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a product-based software development company and should have hands-on involvement in e-commerce platform projects.

Mandatory Criteria

• Candidate must be currently working or have prior experience in a product-based software development company
• Candidate must have worked on at least one e-commerce platform project (end-to-end involvement)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web interfaces using React.js
• Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, reusable front-end components
• Optimize components for maximum performance and cross-browser compatibility
• Integrate front-end components with backend RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with design, backend, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and agile development ceremonies

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API integration
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Understanding of performance optimization, debugging, and front-end testing practices

Requirement:-

4+ years of production experience with React JS and associated tooling (Redux, Jest, Cypress & BuildPacks)

3 years of JavaScript (and preferably Typescript) experience including asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6/ES7.

Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles including Virtual DOM, Data Binding, State & Props and React Lifecycle and Redux Middleware such as Thunk or Saga.

Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, LESS, Bootstrap, Material UI, etc.

Experience with code quality and reusability practices (eslint, prettier, CI/CD for front-end repos)

Knowledge of cross-browser compatibilities, responsiveness, and web accessibility standards.

Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, debugging, troubleshooting, and agile development

Have implemented complex features like authentication/authorization, I18N, logging, security, and testing into developer boilerplates to minimize production errors.

Position Summary

Passionate and creative designer who will design, develop, manage, build, and maintain internal websites and applications using Webflow.

What will you work on?

• Provide development and design on internal web applications through Webflow.
• Work closely as a project team to iterate on UI/UX designs.
