UAT / QA Specialist at Drumbeat · Delhi · 4 - 8 years · ₹15L - ₹25L / yr · Posted 2 Nov 2026

We're hiring Drumbeat's first UAT / QA Specialist: the person who makes sure what we ship actually works, and actually makes sense to customers.
We're not first-timers. We're the team that founded Phrasee in 2015 and grew it to more than 100 people, customers around the world, and a >$100m exit. Lots of people made lots of money, including the founding employees.
With Drumbeat, our plan is to do it all again… except this time, bigger and faster.
What is Drumbeat?
Drumbeat (www.drumbeat.com) predicts your next best action on LinkedIn, then copilots your team to turn invites, DMs and posts into pipeline.
We launched in September 2025 and have raised a £2m seed round led by a well-known VC. We're building the core team around our cofounders (Parry, Jonny and Dan) and Mohit, our Engineering Manager and Phrasee's first engineer. You'll report to Mohit.
What you'll be testing
Setlist, Radar, Riff, AuthorDNA, Campaigns, Conversations, Backstage and Analytics: everything a sales or marketing team uses to work out what to do on LinkedIn, and then do it. We ship fast, with a lot of help from AI. That's exactly why we need someone looking at it all through the customer's eyes.
How we think about quality
- "Customer-first, always." Engineers check that things work. You check that they make sense to the person using them.
- "Human-first AI, not AI-first humans." Use AI for whatever helps. Never outsource your judgement.
- "Spend 55 minutes on the problem." A clear, reproducible bug report beats ten vague ones.
- "A check must be able to fail." A test you've never seen go red proves nothing.
What you'll own
- Being the customer's eyes. Use Drumbeat end to end like a real user, and find what's broken, confusing or unintuitive.
- Testing new work. Try MVPs early, and do hands-on testing of meaningful or higher-risk changes before they go live.
- Exploring. Protected time to explore the existing product, analyse how people use it, and find the things nobody has thought to test.
- Clear findings. Written up with screenshots and a priority, so the team knows what to fix first.
- Automated tests. Build Playwright tests for our key journeys, and reproduce bugs customers report.
Your experience
- 4+ years in QA or testing, at a product company (not an outsourcing firm), preferably B2B SaaS.
- Time at a smaller company, so you know how to get stuck in.
- A product-minded tester who uses the product like a real user.
- Clear written English.
- Bonus: hands-on Playwright or similar browser automation.
Where you'll work
Delhi / NCR. You'll be in our Delhi office some days each week, alongside Mohit.
Pay
₹15–25 lakh CTC, plus equity that vests as the company hits revenue milestones.
This is probably not a job for most people
Don't apply if you want an easy job. Apply if you want a hard one: lots of responsibility, very little bureaucracy, plenty to figure out, and a genuine chance to shape what this company becomes… and make a bunch of money as a result.
If that sounds exciting, LET'S PARTY.

Assignment :
Be the person who makes sure our products actually work for the people who use them.
Daemon Ventures is a US technology company that builds and runs internet businesses with a very small team and heavy use of AI. We are hiring a full-time QA tester to see our products through our customers' eyes. You will use our live products the way a real customer would, every day, and make sure that nothing broken, confusing or inconsistent goes unnoticed.
What you'll do
- Every day, go through our live products as a new customer would: sign up with a real email address, check that the emails arrive, use the core features, pay, cancel and ask for help. Do this on your phone and on a computer.
- Test new products and significant changes before and after they go live.
- Report what you find clearly:
- the steps to reproduce it
- what you expected
- what actually happened
- a screenshot or screen recording
- how much it matters to a customer
- Re-test every fix, and mark it done only when it really works.
- Notice what nobody asked you to check: a price that doesn't match, an email that lands in spam, a page that's confusing on a small screen.
- Suggest what should be checked automatically, so the same problem is caught immediately next time.
Who you are
- Meticulous and persistent. You finish every flow end to end, including the steps after the first screen.
- A clear writer in English. Anyone can reproduce your report without asking you a question.
- Reliable. You keep a daily rhythm without being chased, and you report the real state, including "I couldn't finish this, and here's why."
- Good judgment about what matters. You can tell a bug that loses customers from a cosmetic one.
- Comfortable working remotely, independently and alongside AI. Much of our building and operations is automated, and your reports go straight into that work.
Details
- Full-time and remote, within India. You would be engaged as an independent contractor, paid monthly.
- Experience: 1–3 years of manual testing of web or mobile products.
- Helpful: browser developer tools, mobile testing and a bug tracker.
- Pluses, not requirements: API testing (e.g. Postman), basic SQL, or some exposure to test automation.
- Pay: ₹6–9 LPA, based on experience.
- Process:
1. A short application that includes a practical test (about 30–45 minutes).
2. A conversation or two.
3. A first month working together on the real work.

Mode of Work: Hybrid
QA Engineer:
Job Summary/Objective
Quality Assurance Engineers at MRI collaborate closely with Product Management and Product Development teams to deliver high-quality, high-performance products for our clients. In this role, QA Engineers are responsible for creating and contributing to the documentation of user stories and acceptance criteria, working alongside product owners and development teams. They define manual and automation testing strategies, tools, scenarios, and plans for both web and mobile products, ensuring comprehensive functional and performance testing.
QA Engineers will execute static, dynamic, and performance testing while providing detailed reporting and feedback throughout the development lifecycle. They are expected to demonstrate strong technical skills, including expertise in back-end development, database queries, and keen attention to detail. Effective written, verbal, and organizational communication is essential.
In addition, QA Engineers will leverage AI to optimize and automate repetitive tasks, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of QA processes, ensuring a faster, more accurate testing cycle.
Tools and technology:
1. Tools: Jira, Xray, TFVC, Git
2. API: REST, SOAP, SoapUI, Postman
3. Automation: C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, Playwright, SpecFlow
4. Database: SQL
What you'll own
The quality charter. Define and evolve the testing strategy — web application, dashboards, APIs, webhooks, and customer integrations. Establish release criteria, coverage expectations, and quality gates that engineers actually respect because they're fast and they catch real bugs. Automation at scale. Build and maintain end-to-end and API automation suites that run on every PR and give a trustworthy signal. Own the flake rate. Design for parallel execution, deterministic test data, and fast feedback — a suite nobody trusts is worse than no suite. Performance and reliability. Design and run load, stress, and soak tests against APIs and the platform. Profile results, isolate bottlenecks with the engineers who own the service, and set up the monitoring that tells us about degradation before a customer does. Leverage through tooling, including AI. Use whatever gets coverage up and cycle time down: LLM-assisted test case generation from specs, AI-assisted authoring and maintenance of automation, synthetic test data generation, log and failure triage. We expect you to be opinionated about where these tools genuinely help and where they produce impressive-looking noise. Raising the bar. Partner with product and engineering from spec through release so quality risk is surfaced during design, not after code freeze. Mentor the QA team and build the practices — bug triage discipline, root cause analysis, prevention over detection — that outlast any single release.
What we're looking for
Must have
3–6 years in QA roles, with meaningful ownership of automation frameworks rather than only executing existing suites.
Strong test automation skills with a modern framework — Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium — and solid coding ability in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java. You should be comfortable reading application code, not just testing around it.
API testing experience: REST, auth, webhooks and asynchronous event flows, contract testing, and tooling such as Postman, REST Assured, or Pact.
Hands-on CI/CD integration — GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent — including making suites fast and reliable enough to gate merges.
Working knowledge of SQL for validating data correctness, and comfort with logs, traces, and observability tooling for debugging.
Rigorous, systematic thinking about edge cases and failure modes, and the communication skills to make quality risk legible to product and leadership.
Nice to have
Experience testing AI, ML, or LLM-based products, and comfort with the reality that outputs are probabilistic rather than deterministic. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure for standing up test environments.
Performance and load testing with k6, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust, plus the analytical ability to turn results into a specific, actionable bottleneck. Exposure to enterprise SaaS with real integration surface area, or to security and compliance testing expectations of enterprise buyers. - Experience as the first or most senior quality voice on a team.
What we offer
Competitive compensation with equity. Direct ownership of a charter that materially affects how enterprise customers experience our product.
Proximity to frontier AI systems in production, and the freedom to use modern tooling to do your job well.
A fast-moving team where the distance between an idea and a shipped change is short.
