Sr. – Software Engineer 

Job Description

Desired Technical Skillset:

MERN stack, ReactJS, NodeJS, PostgreSQL .Microervices

Total Work Experience: 3-5 Year  

Expectations from the candidate:

• Excellent knowledge of front-end frameworks like ReactJS

• Experience with popular React.js workflows

• Experience with development on NodeJS

• Experience with development on PostgreSQL

• Experience working with server-client architectures, consuming JSON data from API’s

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Lead or participate in design reviews, code reviews and architecture evolution discussions

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirement:

▪ 4~10 years’ experience in Automation using Typescript, Javascript, Java as programming languages

▪ Able to demonstrate good technical & problem solving skills

▪ Possess relevant hands-on experience with developing automation scripts using tools like protractor, selenium, rest assured, cucumber, POM model etc.

▪ Should be ready to explore, learn and develop solutions for problems.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Collaborate with Data Scientists to test and scale new algorithms through pilots and later industrialize the solutions at scale to the comprehensive fashion network of the Group

• Influence, build and maintain the large-scale data infrastructure required for the AI projects, and integrate with external IT infrastructure/service to provide an e2e solution

• Leverage an understanding of software architecture and software design patterns to write scalable, maintainable, well-designed and future-proof code

• Design, develop and maintain the framework for the analytical pipeline

• Develop common components to address pain points in machine learning projects, like model lifecycle management, feature store and data quality evaluation

• Provide input and help implement framework and tools to improve data quality

• Work in cross-functional agile teams of highly skilled software/machine learning engineers, data scientists, designers, product managers and others to build the AI ecosystem within the Group

• Deliver on time, demonstrating a strong commitment to deliver on the team mission and agreed backlog

Responsibilities:

• Writing clean and efficient codes for Android applications
• Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance
• Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features
• Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols

Key Requirements:

• You have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity with various testing tools
• You are a problem solver with good analytical skills

Skills: Java, Android SDK & NDK, MVVM/MVC/MVP

• Should be independent contributor.
• Writing individual user stories that are very clear and concise and are easy to understand and implement by the development team.
• Identifying related user stories and epics, grouping them into themes as necessary and documenting the interrelationship and associated business process flows as necessary
• Prepare EPICS, Themes , User Stories and maintain product backlog, release backlog
• Constantly groom user stories, update acceptance criteria and keep the backlog up-to date
• Reviews, explain, orally, visually user stories, functional aspect of the system
• Participate in sprint review meetings, accept stories that meet the user acceptance criteria
• Manage changes to the stories, split user stories as appropriate
• Preparation of Documentation, Help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
• Serve as a liaison with the business community and IT to ensure that changes are understood.
• Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence and report same to Project Lead/technical lead

• Experience in functional decomposition of requirement in a logical manner.
• Ability to articulate functional acceptance criteria.
• Ability to draw visuals manually or using any tool to present functionality and system behavior
• Ability to interview users and capture user requirement as stories
• Client interactions during the project/product life cycle
• Good analytical skills
• 3-5 years of experience in Agriculture domain.
• Over all understanding of ERP, SCM, CRM kind of business process for better comprehension
• At least 1 full life cycle development experience of Concept to Delivery
• Hands on tools like JIRA, TFS kind of requirement management repositories
• Working experience of 3-5 years of Agile based projects as B.A. and aware of all nuances of Agile, SCRUM methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Analyze, discuss and understand user/business requirements
● Translate business requirements to optimizer solutions, system & firmware specifications
● Design & Implement firmware/software as per specifications and conduct unit tests
● Managing & building end devices and middleware (Gateway development)
● Connectivity solutions, protocol implementation, stack development (ex: Lora)
● Perform integration, acceptance tests, troubleshooting, and debugging
● Work in collaboration with other team members, leadership, and other departments towards
solution implementation and delivery
● Adhere to organization/project process standards and guidelines
● Handling internal (team, departments, and leadership) and external (customers & partners)

● Hands-on programming experience in C/C++/Python in Embedded/IoT environment
● Good working knowledge of Linux internals & application development
● Good working experience of RTOS & bare metal programming
● Hands-on experience in device driver development
● Hands-on experience with protocol implementation (wired & wireless)
● Experience in executing projects in an Agile/Waterfall model
● Exposure to Gateways, web/cloud computing technologies, APIs, sockets, & related tools

Key Skills Required :

1. Proficiency in Python 3.x based web and backend development

• Experience working with container technologies like Docker and knowledge of CI/CD processes for automated integration and deployment. Basic knowledge of AWS preferred.
• Strong experience in Microservices (SRP) paradigm.
• Willing to learn new technologies (Golang).
