Business Analyst - AI Product

We're seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our AI product development. You'll work closely with the Product Manager to translate product vision into clear, actionable JIRA user stories and handle key administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain well-structured JIRA user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Support product documentation and requirements gathering
• Coordinate across teams and manage administrative workflows
• Assist in stakeholder communication and reporting

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong experience writing technical user stories and working with JIRA
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Consulting background strongly preferred (experience translating client needs into technical requirements)

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with AI/ML products
• Experience as Scrum Master

mavQ is seeking a motivated Consultant to join our team. You will be an integral member of the Professional Services team dedicated to work on the recently acquired mavQ’s Electronic Research Administration products built on a REST based Java platform running in Tomcat. The work is about 70% implementation and new development and 30% maintenance.

Work Location: Hyderabad, India.

What You will be doing:

• Work closely with the Business Analysts and Project Managers to implement the products on new customer sites 
• Analyze client requirements and match with system functionality to develop SOWs.
• Develop tools and applications with producing clean, standardized, and scalable code
• Look into ways implementation tasks can be automated using appropriate tools and scripting
• Troubleshooting bugs and answering implementation questions from customers and the product teams. 
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams
• Ensure change management processes are followed
• Ensure software is up-to-date on latest versions of Apache Tomcat, Apache Solr and Java

What you will bring:

• Overall 2-5 Years of experience.
• Web development using Java, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, CSS, REST API, Apache Solr, Apache XSL-FO, Apache Tomcat
• Database knowledge of SQL, T-SQL
• Some ETL experience - Knowledge of Pentaho Business Intelligence / Pentaho Data Integration preferred.
• Basic understanding of upgrading Java applications running on Tomcat to newer versions of Java and Tomcat. 
• Basic understanding of cloud computing & distributed systems.
• Basic understanding of command-line interfaces & shell

• Working with the conference production team to develop an understanding of the event programme.
• Researching attendees and generating sales leads.
• Cold calling and selling to a list of prospective event attendees.
