Job Title: Senior Python Developer (with or without Rust API experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development, API design, and scalable application architecture. Candidates with exposure to Rust API development will have an added advantage, though it is not mandatory. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python (Flask / FastAPI / Django).
• Develop RESTful or GraphQL APIs and ensure seamless data integration between systems.
• Work on microservices architecture and implement clean, modular, and testable code.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with DevOps, frontend, and product teams for feature development and release cycles.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and system enhancements.
• (Optional) Integrate and maintain APIs written in Rust or other high-performance languages.
• Write automated unit tests and follow best practices for CI/CD and version control (Git).

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong understanding of OOPs, design patterns, Data structures and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous programming.
• Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS Cloud Services is a plus.
• Familiarity with Rust and its API ecosystem is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

• Overall 6 years of experience in IT/Software development
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Snowflake.
• Designing, implementing and testing cloud computing solutions using Snowflake technology.
• Creating, monitoring and optimization of ETL/ELT processes.
• Migrating solutions from on-premises to public cloud platforms.
• Experience in SQL language and data warehousing concepts.

We are looking for experienced Odoo Developers with good development skills in Python. Candidates should have hands-on experience in end to end implementation of the custom modules in Odoo.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and deploy ERP/ web applications using OpenERP/ Odoo.

• Customize/ develop various modules such as Accounting, POS Sales & CRM, inventory, Purchasing, , Invoice, Website, Google map, Warehouse, MRP, HR, etc.

• Customize various modules and integrate services/ products ranging from payment gateways to hardware devices with Odoo.

• Understand Functional requirements from clients. Provide GAP analysis and transform them into technical requirements.

• Functional knowledge of ERP modules like Accounting, Stock, CRM, Inventory, HR, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, E- Commerce, and Payment gateway.

• Experience in Migrations, Odoo end user training.

• Knowledge of OOP concepts, SQL, HTML and JavaScript.

• Experience in hosting on AWS or other cloud service providers

• Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into business solutions.

• Develop and deploy ERP modules from scratch

• Adopt new and emerging technologies to provide solutions to client needs. Cater to time difference need

• Identify technical issues and provide solutions

• Testing support.

• Develop and customize reports based on client s specifications in the modules like Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing and HR. Work on Odoo's internal BI reporting tool for live reports

• Skills

• Strong familiarity with the Odoo framework is mandatory.

• Should have a solid knowledge of Python and programming concepts. Contribution for Open Source Projects will be advantageous.

• Good problem solving and analytical skills

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
