Technical Architect

We are looking for an experienced SDE-3 Backend Engineer (Node.js) to lead the backend engineering pod responsible for third-party integrations, observability, and engineering support.

The role requires someone who is technically strong in Node.js, TypeScript, databases, and backend system design, and who can remain hands-on while guiding engineers and working closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery, quality, and production stability for third-party
• integrations, observability, and engineering support.
• Own technical design, architecture decisions, code reviews, and delivery quality for services owned by the pod.
• Drive strong engineering practices across design reviews, code reviews, testing, documentation, release discipline, and operational readiness.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Own integrations with banks, payment partners, fintech partners, and other external systems.
• Ensure partner integrations are reliable, secure, well-documented, and easy to support.
• Build monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and visibility across critical services and partner workflows.
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, dashboards, and troubleshooting guides for critical services and partner workflows.
• Drive timely resolution of production issues, partner issues, and internal escalations.
• Perform RCA for incidents and ensure long-term fixes are implemented.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve engineering practices within the pod.

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js and TypeScript backend development.
• Strong database skills, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, transactions, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of building scalable, performant, resilient, and fault-tolerant backend systems.
• Experience with third-party integrations, webhooks, callbacks, retries, timeouts, and error handling.
• Strong debugging and production issue resolution skills.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability tools is preferred.
• Good understanding of secure API design, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or similar tools.
• Ability to guide and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on.
• Ability to drive delivery, manage technical execution, and ensure quality within the pod.
• Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.

To reinforce our dynamic development team, we are seeking a skilled Backend or Full-stack Developer. In this role, you will collaborate with international cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the application, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.

Implement new features and functionality based on business requirements.

Participate in system and application architecture discussions.

Create technical designs and specifications for new features or enhancements.

Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality.

Debug and resolve technical issues and software defects.

Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.

Identify and fix vulnerabilities to ensure application integrity.

Work with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.

Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and scaling.

Design and implement workflow automation using Camunda BPM, integrating it with backend services and ensuring efficient process execution.

Optimize and maintain business process models and workflow orchestration using Camunda.

Troubleshoot and enhance Camunda BPMN workflows, DMN decision tables, and process automation configurations.

Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a skilled Backend or Full-stack Developer. Experience in the insurance domain is appreciated.

Strong experience with Spring Boot 3, Java 17 or newer, and Maven.

Experience with PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Sonar, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Mockito, IntelliJ IDEA, and GitHub repository.

Hands-on experience with Camunda BPM (v7 or v8), including BPMN workflows, DMN decision tables, and REST API integration.

Experience with Angular TS and/or AWS, Kafka is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.

• New features developed independently with the ability to document the design after understanding and evaluating the requirements with necessary groundwork on required application components
• Hands-on coding to implement the design for feature completion
• Able to write unit tests that ensures bug free code
• Able to handle the multi-tenant and performance requirements of the new features and applications.
• Integrate the new features with existing modules, deliver ready to use code meeting necessary build requirements and CI/CD requirements.
• Work with other functional groups for product, technology, QA, tech support and deployment team.

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications.

• BE/B.Tech Degree from a reputed institution with at least 7 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with Core Java, J2EE with a good knowledge of its ecosystem
• Experience with JUnit, JMH like performance tuning test tools preferred
• REST API design and development experience. Usage of Swagger or other API spec tools would be preferred. Working knowledge on Spring Boot is a plus
• Hands-on experience with some of the following application components is a plus: Solr, Kafka, OpenTSDB, Elasticsearch, Janus graph or any graph DB.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL or PostgreSQL required.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and build tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI, Maven, Ant required
• Experience building applications using microservices architecture is highly preferred. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker would be ideal
• Working knowledge on public clouds like AWS or Google cloud or Azure is a plus
• Experience building scalable systems
• Strong problem solving skills and ability and interest to solve complex problems
• Interest in machine learning (ML) data science is a plus

Prefer Immediate Joiners with Node experience only
Minimum 2 Years of experience in NodeJS. Minimum 1 Year experience in MongoDB Minimum 1 Year of experience in ElasticSearch.

• Proficient in Node with Express.Js as a framework.
• Must have hands-on experience in Databases. (MongoDB)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Hands-on experience in building microservices and processes.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use

Role and Responsibilities:

• As a backend developer, your primary focus will be the development of all server-side systems
• A basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. You will test, secure and deploy your code
• Work experience on Node.js is a must along with a server-side framework like Express.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Experience and proficiency integrating with REST APIs
• Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience in working with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.
• AgileScrum development cycle understanding.

Skills Required:

• At least 2 years of experience developing backends using NodeJS should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds.
• Good knowledge of MongoDB(Must) & any other MySQL Database.
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases.
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs.
• Knowledge and working experience in Cloud environment - AWS or Azure
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing and available Test Frameworks.
• Should be a fast learner and a go-getter without any fear of trying out new things

We are looking for some one with 3+ Years of experience  with Microsoft technologies including.NET, ASP.Net Core MVC, C#, MS SQL Server. WPF, WCF C#, ASP.NET, XML, XSL, scripting languages including JQuery/JavaScript and HTML. 

Good to have knowledge with SQL Server 2012, indexing and queries and SSIS/SSRS.

Has Implemented Ajax Controls in C# . Net Projects

Complete understanding of MS SQL Database. Data modelling to visualize database structure.

Writing queries use for front‐end applications (websites, desktop applications, Mobile App or cloud apps).

Good understanding of Reviewing query performance and optimizing code.

Designing and coding database tables to store the application’s data.

Creating database triggers, stored procedures & functions.

Creating table indexes to improve database performance.

Has experience in writing unit tests & performing unit tests on own codes.

• Oversee and review code as required.

• Drive implementation and address technical roadblocks that the team is facing.

• Experience with diagnosing performance and/or memory issues is a plus, including using relevant profiler tools.

• Oversee and assist during system testing, UAT and deployment.
