Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and FastAPI to build scalable, high-performance backend systems integrated with LLM technologies on Azure. The role involves designing distributed systems, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring secure, enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Python & FastAPI (async, middleware)
• Build high-concurrency, scalable systems and microservices
• Work with Azure services and event-driven architectures
• Optimize MongoDB & Redis for performance
• Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude)
• Implement security (JWT, encryption, API management)

Mandatory Skills (Top 3)

1. Strong Python backend development with FastAPI
2. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud
3. Experience in building scalable distributed/microservices systems

Good to Have

• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD

What you will be doing

• Building and maintaining Java micro services.
• Develop new features and improve existing features of the application.
• Coding, Implementing, Unit Testing and Documenting Java based services.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Code reviews and ensuring adherence to software development standards.
• Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.
• Participating in requirements gathering and functional specification activities.
• Resolving and helping to mitigate production issues.

• Experience of building micro services architectures, developing RESTful services,continuous integration, unit and integration testing.
• Proficient with SpringBoot, Hibernate, JUnit and other Java frameworks apart from RDBMS and NoSQL databases - PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Gauge or other BDD frameworks and experience in Fintech would be preferred.

Java Developer with GCP

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in software development in an object-oriented language such as Java, .NET or Node.Js
• Exceptional design, coding, and problem-solving skills, with a bias for architecture at scale.
• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, front-end technologies like AngularJS, Redux / React and upcoming web technologies.
• Real-world experience developing large scale commercial services with robust performance, resiliency, and telemetry, delivered both Online and OnPrem.
• Strong knowledge of computer science, algorithms, and design patterns.
