Tech Support Engineer

Storytelling platforms have not evolved with smartphones, as we still consume stories being passive observers. At Raidenbit, we are building http://onelink.to/kahaniboxapp">KahaniBox - The Netflix for interactive fiction in Indian languages. We create stories with immersive roleplay experiences that allow the audience to control how the stories unfold and end. And while doing that, we are solving some fascinating problems around decoding human psychology and understanding our audience’s content tastes using engineering and data science.

We are looking for an Engineering Head to join our founding team and drive the vision and architecture for scaling KahaniBox to 100M+ monthly users.

You will:

• Recruit and manage world-class engineering talent both in India and abroad.
• Lead the development of our content creation engine, recommendation engine, and content insight engine. 
• Prototype and implement new product ideas and initiatives around increasing revenue, user retention, content consumption, etc.
• Implement and continuously improve processes for high-velocity engineering, including DevOps, testing, CI/CD, PRs, etc.
• Keep technical debt under control by reinforcing and evolving our engineering culture, which values code reviews, high test coverage, and adequate documentation.

You have:

• 7+ years of engineering experience in scaling, optimizing, and rewriting significant systems. Bonus points for gaming/media-tech experience.
• 3+ years of team management experience. 
• Strong team-building and empowering skills - you excel in hiring and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
• Exceptional competencies in data structures, algorithms, software design, and OOP.
• Experience with at least one Cloud Providers: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience in building data pipelines and implementing event-driven architectures.
• Strong bias to ship early and iterate quickly with data.
• Intermediate understanding of Machine Learning.

Job Description:

• He / She candidate must possess a strong technology background with advanced knowledge of Java and Python based technology stack.
• Java, JEE, Spring MVC, Python, JPA, Spring Boot, REST API, Database, Playwright, CI/CD pipelines
• * At least 3 years of Hand-on Java EE and Core Java experience with strong leadership qualities.
• * Experience with Web Service development, REST and Services Oriented Architecture.
• * Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Design patterns, Architecture and Application Integration.

Key Responsibilities:

-    Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications using React.js and related front-end technologies.

-    Build responsive and interactive user interfaces with reusable components.

-    Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

-    Integrate RESTful APIs and manage data flow effectively using Redux or other state management libraries.

-    Optimize web applications for maximum performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

-    Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.

-    Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

-    Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.

Skills Required:

-    Minimum 2 years of professional experience in front-end web development.

-    Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

-    Experience with Redux / Context API or other state management tools.

-    Good understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and functional programming concepts.

-    Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous data handling.

-    Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.

-    Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

The Java Software Engineer role is to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance

backend systems using Java and related technologies. This includes building APIs, integrating with

databases and external services, and ensuring system reliability, security, and maintainability.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.

·         Must be able to communicate with users of different levels from a developer to an IT executive.

·         Capable of articulating/writing technical documentation that helps all system users understand and use the product.

·         The candidate must be well versed in creating online help, end-user or technical manuals/guides, business communications, release mailers.

·         The candidate must be capable of articulating processes and products in all possible formats like print, video guides, online self-help guides, and other electronic means.

·         In addition to research, copywriting, language, writing, and revision skills, the candidate must also possess following attributes:

• Business analysis, Illustration/graphic design using power point presentation, Indexing of all help content, Training, E-learning, User interfaces, Video editing, Website content management

·         A technical writer must be able to elicit information from SMEs and conducts the research necessary to write and compile technically accurate content independently.

·         The candidate must be able to prioritize their tasks with project leader and able to multi task for different projects within the program.
