Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. In this role, you will drive new business opportunities and build strong client relationships within the custom software development sector.

Responsibilities:

· Identify and qualify leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.

· Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.

· Understand client requirements and propose suitable custom software development solutions.

· Deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.

· Negotiate contract terms and pricing to achieve profitability goals.

Collaborate with our technical team to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs.

Requirements:

About Monarch: 

At Monarch, we’re leading the digital transformation of farming. Monarch Tractor augments both muscle and mind with fully loaded hardware, software, and service machinery that will spur future generations of farming technologies. 

With our farmer-first mentality, we are building a smart tractor that will enhance (not replace) the existing farm ecosystem, alleviate labor availability, and cost issues, and provide an avenue for competitive organic and beyond farming by providing mechanical solutions to replace harmful chemical solutions. What you will do: 

1. Design, implement and deliver custom solutions using the existing robotics framework. 

2. Debug issues, do root-cause analysis and apply fixes. 

3. Design and implement tools to facilitate application development and testing. 

4. Participate in architectural improvements. 

5. Work with team members in deployment and field testing. 

Qualifications: 

1. Bachelor’s degree / Masters in Engineering (ECE or CSE preferred) 

2. Work experience of 3+ years in software programming. 

3. Proficiency in Python programming for Linux based systems. 

4. Full understanding of software engineering. 

5. Basic Knowledge of Robot Operating System (ROS) is a plus. 

6. Good understanding of the algorithms and control loops. 

7. Working knowledge of Git: creating, merging branches, cherry-picking commits, examining the diff between two hashes. Advanced Git usage is a plus.  

8. Knowledge of video streaming from edge devices is a plus. 

9. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to own the project’s tasks end-to-end with minimum hand-holding  

10. Learn and adapt new technologies & skills. Work on projects independently with timely delivery & defect free approach.

• Must have 6+ years of experience in C/C++ programming language.
• Knowledge of Go programming language and Python programming language is a big plus.
• Strong background in L4-L7 Internet Protocols TCP, HTTP, HTTP2, GRPC and HTTPS/SSL/TLS.
• Background in Internet security related products such as Web Application Firewalls, API Security Gateways, Reverse Proxies and Forward Proxies
• Proven knowledge of Linux kernel internals (process scheduler, memory management, etc.)
• Experience with eBPF is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in cloud architectures (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, distributed systems) with continuous delivery
• Familiar with containerization solutions like Docker/Kubernetes etc.
• Familiar with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda.
• Exposure to machine learning technologies and distributed systems is a plus
• B.E/B.Tech/MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
