 SQL Server DBA duties and responsibilities

• Experience in  both sql server DBA and DBA developer

•             Configure and maintain database servers and processes

•             Monitor system's health and performance

•             Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and  security

•             Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time

•             Provide suggestions for solutions

•             Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes

•             Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement

•             Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities

•             Database programming skills(writing and understanding Procedures , scripts..)

Good to have experience to SSIS,SSAS SSRS or any reporting tools.

Job Description

• Be a champion for technical solutions on the Microsoft platform with a keen understanding of Dynamics NAV/BC development practices, and a good knowledge of other development techniques. Should have done upgrades from previous versions and data migration from various legacy applications.
• Provide capability to develop sector-specific templates to enhance the out of the box Dynamics NAV/BC functionality, giving a unique selling point and also a resaleable asset.
• Work closely with the architecture team to design and develop our most complex customer needs, providing development only where these requirements cannot be met through configuration. Creating high quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation.
• Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills and behavior. Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
• Participate in pre-sales activities as requested.
• Support practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry-specific templates.

Technical Skills:

Primary Skills Required(Dynamics NAV/BC)

• Extensive experience with Dynamics NAV/BC up to the latest versions
• Broad Dynamics NAV/BC module understanding covering all core modules and additional add-on solutions
• Direct experience in consultancy and solution architecture within a Microsoft Gold Partner environment
• Track record of Dynamics NAV/BC implementation experience either as a team member or team leader.
• Knowledge of NAV/BC implementation and end to end implementation
• Experience with NAV/BC interfacing and integration. Experience in gathering technical requirement. upgrades and migration knowledge is important
• Beneficial to know Agile and Sure Step methodologies
• Experience in other technologies such as D365, SQL, Power BI, SSAS, SharePoint along with knowledge of Azure and .Net;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to clients and colleagues

Secondary Skills:

• Knowledge of SQL Server, MS Azure, Power BI, SSRS.(Required)
• Good to have someone with Auto domain expertise. Should have very good experience in client handling

Database Management and complete DATA BASE ORIENTATION OF CLIENTS IN THE SOFTWARE SYSTEMS AND PUNCHING THE DATA INTO THE SOFTWARE ASSIGNED.

-Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software.

-Laptop, MAC pcs, Troubleshoot and resolve firewall, desktop, hardware, connection, printer, and software issues.

-Update network applications as required. Maintain daily tape backup and off-site tape storage

Administration of all networks, servers, and storage infrastructure to Build, test, implement, operate, patch, monitor, backup, update, and secure

-Hardware / Software configuration of Servers, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and storage system

Maximize corporate network services uptime by maintaining the corporate network, server, and storage infrastructure

-Maintain and manage VPNs and routers and Troubleshoot Management of personal queries

Provide Mobile device support and Maintain all the devices and regular check of the personal devices of the Management and Employees.

Desired Candidate Profile: 

-Outstanding organizational and time management skills, Analytical thinker, and problem solver. Attention to detail is Crucial.

-Experienced Symantec Antivirus/Cisco VPN solutions, Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching, and Administration

-In-depth knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.    

SAP Basis / HANA 

• Solution Manager/FRUN Experience with detail knowledge of how SOLMAN system is integrated with Ticketing Tools. 
• Experience in Solution Manager Technical monitoring. 
• End to end monitoring for the sap system during the changes when the monitoring is not available or until the new one is in place 
• Manage the team to get the assigned task done on time adhering the SLA. 
• Align with different stakeholders to discuss the progress of multiple tasks. 
• SPOC of Alert management team. 
• Able to solve and coordinate RCA and support during critical system behaviour.
• Audit Experience. 
• Detailed Technical experience in SAP BASIS and HANA systems administrations. 
• Experience in setting up System Replications, High Availability and Disaster recovery. 
• Possess leadership qualities. 
• Proven track record of Client handling. 
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud is desirable. 
• Coach others recognize their strengths and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development. 
• Any Experience in SAP tools (SPC, LVM, etc.) will be advantage
• Ready to learn new technologies. 
• Should be ready to work in 24*7 shifts. 
• Any Experience ECS Managed Service Model would be added advantage
