About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Java & PHP Developer to join our backend engineering team that powers high-throughput, large-scale SaaS platforms — delivering billions of personalized communications and marketing events every month. You’ll work on mission-critical services that drive automation, data intelligence, and real-time campaign delivery across global clients. You’ll play a key role in designing scalable APIs, improving platform performance, and mentoring developers — while working closely with distributed teams aligned to US (EST) time zones. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot, Microservices) and PHP (Laravel/Symfony/custom frameworks).
• Lead system design and architecture reviews, ensuring clean code, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Drive API integrations, microservices deployment, and modernization of legacy components.
• Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and data engineering teams to deliver high impact features and performance improvements.
• Build, maintain, and monitor data-intensive systems that handle large message/event volumes with high reliability.
• Implement strong observability practices (metrics, tracing, alerting) and contribute to production incident reviews.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and advocate engineering excellence.
• Work collaboratively across global teams during EST business hours for sprint planning, releases, and incident response.

Required Qualifications:

• 6–9 years of professional backend development experience.
• Expert in Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs, concurrency, JVM tuning) and PHP (Laravel/Symfony, Composer, PSR standards)
• Strong experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL, Redis, and NoSQL systems. • Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience in scalable, distributed architectures and performance optimization.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and system performance tuning capabilities.
• Proven ability to deliver reliable, secure, and production-ready code in fast-paced agile environments.
• Excellent communication skills; able to coordinate with global teams across time zones.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and external SDKs.
• Prior experience in AdTech, Martech, or high-volume SaaS platforms (similar to Sailthru/Zeta Global ecosystem).
• Knowledge of Python/Go for cross-service utilities or internal tooling is a plus.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Would work in design, develop, enhance, test and maintain software applications
• Design and develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, parameterized queries and objects using tools like Toad, SQL Developer, Pl/SQL developer
• Build and maintain Application database schema/objects and account for data migration/upgrades across versions
• Identify and automate routine maintenance tasks
• Optimizing DB queries, stored procedures, Data structures, Indexes and DB Normalization.
• Certify all queries written by software developers to ensure optimal execution of the queries
• Research, investigate and evaluate potential database solutions to business problems/requirements
• Write Test cases for developed queries/functions using PLSQL and Quest code tester.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Developing system components throughout all phases of the product lifecycle·        
• Own, improve, maintain, and enhance the code of a desktop client application with a native look and feel for Windows, one of the primary access points for users to Egnyte’s cloud-based connect solution
• Influence architecture, features, and implementation of our product·    
• Collaborate with other developers, product owners, and QA in bringing releases in a SaaS delivery model

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Leading a team of developers and QA (team size: 4+) with a full focus on productivity and business delivery
• Taking full responsibility for the new code from the design phase to running it in production (high-scale usage)
• Strong C++ programming (C++14 standard) and debugging skills and design patterns knowledge
• Experience with STL, boost, or WIN32 API·      
• Experience in the development of multi-threaded and multi-process applications·

• You have experience building a product using a mainstream library or framework.
• You love to own end to end responsibility, starting from defining the problem statement (either yourself or alongside your peers), development (PoC if needed), testing, releasing in staging & then production environment, and finally monitoring.

Role – Technical Architect

ZipLoan is looking out for a strong technology leader of Software Product Engineering, with a Technical Experience of about 12+ years, and hands-on experience in Software Product Development and ownership. You will head our Platform team which will be tasked with building ZipLoan's platform layer along with a set of engineers reporting to you.

Role:

1. Understand the business end-to-end in order to drive a use-case driven architecture.
2. Identify parts of the code-base which can be made reusable as modules or services.
3. Propose architecture improvements to provide reliability and robustness at scale.
4. Provide a roadmap for evolution of the technology ecosystem.
5. Identify and erase technical debt.
6. Provide consultancy to engineering teams on specific design challenges.
7. Propose engineering best practices and help teams in adopting them.
