Roles & Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Design and build the core Node.js services and REST APIs from scratch, built to scale as we grow.

• Own system design end to end: service boundaries, data flow, caching, queueing, failure modes, and scale.

• Ship AI/ML-powered features, including LLM and agentic capabilities.

• Use LLMs and agentic tooling across the SDLC, from design and code generation to testing and debugging.

• Model data and optimize SQL/NoSQL queries for performance; integrate with third-party platforms.

• Debug production issues, own reliability, and set the engineering standards the rest of the team will grow into.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: 4+ years building production backend systems in Node.js for B2C products at meaningful scale.

• System Design: This one matters a lot to us. You can reason clearly about scalability, reliability, and trade-offs under real constraints.

• Fundamentals: Strong grasp of API design, service-oriented architecture, data structures, algorithms, and clean code.

• Databases: Depth in SQL and/or NoSQL, data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.

• AI-Native: You already use LLMs and agentic approaches to maximize your own efficiency as an engineer.

• Mindset: You enjoy the pace and breadth of a small team, and you

Roles:

• Design & implement Backend Services.
• Able to redesign the architecture.
• Designing & implementation of application in MVC & Microservice.
• 9+ years of experience developing service-based applications using Node.js.
• Expert-level skills in developing web applications using JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.
• Experience working on teams that practice BDD (Business Driven Development).
• Understanding of micro-service architecture and RESTful API integration patterns.
• Experience using Node.js for automation and leveraging NPM for package management
• Solid Object-Oriented design experience, and creating and leveraging design patterns.

Node Js Developer

Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience  in Node JS and AWS.

Responsibilities: 

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Node JS code

• 1+ years of software experience with Node JS, Javascript frameworks related to webstack
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Experience with use of serverless functions from AWS
• Experience with architecture of technology systems having hands-on expertise in backend and cloud systems ( AWS, GCP)
• Expertise with NoSQL databases (Mongo, ElasticSearch, Redis) including design of schemas and development for these databases
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in Microservice architecture and development including REST-based APIs.
