Sr DotNet Backend Developer

JD for .Net:

• Strong knowledge on C#, Asp.Net Web forms and Web API

• Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery and Responsive web designing

• Experience with SQL server, Stored Procedure and performance tuning

• Excellent Problem solving, communication and Debugging skills

• Ability to learn and work on new technology in a short span of time

• Extensive experience with Object- Oriented Programming and Design patterns.

• Knowledge on .NET Core, Elastic Search, Knockout JS, Windows services are added advantage.

Qualifications & skills:

• C#.net, ASP.net MVC, Microsoft sql server, LINQ, Entity framework, .net Core.
• Repository / version management tools such as GIT, SVN, TFS.
• Diploma / bachelor degree / master degree in computer science or subjects related to computer software programming.
• Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively. Being a team player is more preferred.
• Ability to understand and work on requirements.
• Flexible in work and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.

Responsibilities & duties:

• Understanding requirements from the project manager or team leader and writing tasks associated.
• Develop and implement tasks while following project management guidelines to maintain coordination between teams.
• Test and maintain projects to ensure strong functionality and optimization along with performance.
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technically support colleague(s).
• Deliver projects / work on time to ensure we never fail our commitments.
• Recommend improvements to existing projects as necessary.
• Create requirement documents , write tasks and delivery manuals when needed or asked by your PM / TL.
• Help your co-workers if needed and support everyone in the company for their tasks.

DevDarshan is a devotional platform launched by IIT graduates to promote the teachings of Indian culture and the Hindu way of life in India around the world. In the 21st century, where everything around is digitized then why not temples. That’s the idea behind DevDarshan.We’ve built a community of devotees from multiple Countries, through our Mobile Application that connects Temples and Devotees, have successfully raised seed investment and also started to generate revenue for the temples and Priests associated with us. We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated individual to help design our backend Systems to support both the Mobile App and WebApp

Requirements: 

• Experience in NodeJS, Typescript, ExpressJS AWS EC2. You have built backend REST API’s
• Expert in System Design and Software Architecture Processes, How different components interact with each other in scale
• Experience with DevOps, Docker, AWS, Google Cloud.
• Experience in Managing Development Teams, complete delivery lifecycle
• Good understanding and experience of NoSQL and SQL Databases, which to be used when. 
• Experience with CI/CD Systems like Jenkins, Github Actions.
• Some Experience with Realtime Databases/Systems or Socket based applications would be preferred.
• Some Experience with building Algorithms, Social Apps is preferred. 
• Any experience with Handling Video Delivery like ffmpeg/HLS/WebRTC is preferred but not mandatory.

This Role naturally progresses into Engineering Manager / Software Architect.

• Java – Spring, Hibernate, Data Structures & Algorithms
  • Knowledge on a Database system.
  3+ years of experience in software development.

Preferably BE/B-Tech engineering degree, but not a must.
• 3 years’ experience developing server-side Java – Spring, Hibernate and REST
• Full-SDLC cycle, with large-scale live roll-out participation as a developer.
• Expert understanding of the object-oriented design and programming concepts
• Good understanding of relational and non-relational database/datastores/caches best practices and challenges
• Have a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
• Proficient in Git and familiarity with continuous integration
• A team player who values collaboration, innovation, and inclusion
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
