Primary Responsibilities

 

• Design, architect and develop advanced software solutions in a cross functional Agile team supporting multiple projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with product owners and/or the business on requirements definition, development of functional specifications, and design
• Collaborate on or lead development of technical design and specifications as required
• Code, test and document new applications as well as changes to existing system functionality and ensure successful completion
• Take on leadership roles as needed

 

Skills & Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of software development experience using GoLang/Java programming language
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP/Pivotal Cloud Foundry/any private cloud) and containerization is required
• AWS - experience in extensive use of AWS offerings like Redis, Kafka etc.
• Experience with a micro-services architecture is a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other Relational Databases
• Test-driven development mindset and a focus on quality, scalability, and performance
• Strong programming fundamentals and ability to produce high quality code
• Solid understanding of Agile (SCRUM) Development Process required

Roles and Responsibilities:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - - Understand requirements and use them to create comprehensive well- designed specifications - Lead the technical team by ensuring timely deliveries and respecting Sprints using SCRUM methodology - Lead design and development of our core web application using service- oriented architecture exposing APIs for internal and external clients. - Implement architecture and design patterns to help ensure that systems scale. - Establish processes and best practices around development standards. - Review product requirements in order to give development estimates and product feedback. - Apply technical expertise to challenging architecture and design problems. SKILLS / COMPETENCIES - - Extensive experience in developing enterprise-grade applications on C#/.NET, HTML, CSS, JS. - Master building service-oriented architecture, web services, and APIs - Product delivery and product management experience compulsory. - Experience with PostgreSQL and database design. - Successful experience managing a development team on complex projects - Experience with software design patterns: MVC, MVVM - Strong knowledge of Web Standards, OWASP security principles, and data encryption/security - The proponent of continuous integration, unit testing, and automation - Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Net Core and Angular2 will be considered as an added advantage. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE - - 5+ years experience in software development - Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. - Understanding Business Logic and having Product Delivery experience is an advantage. - Experience with enterprise-scale systems a major plus. - Mandatory experience working in an Agile environment (SCRUM certification preferred)

Cloud Architect Should have 15+ years overall IT industry experience. 6+ years of architecture, design, implementation of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.). Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment. Experience with one or more NoSQL like (MongoDB, Cassandra). Deep technical experience in one or more of the following areas: Software design or development, Cloud Application Design, Mobility, PaaS, Media Services, CDN. Working knowledge with AGILE development, SCRUM and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). Deep programming skills in one or more languages- C#/C++/Java/ Python.
