Role Description 

• Role- Python Developer 
• CTC- Upto 12 LPA 

This is a full-time on-site role for a Python Developer located in Mumbai. The Python Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), programming, and databases. The Python Developer will also be responsible for performing system analysis and creating robust and scalable software solutions. 

Qualifications 

• 2+ years of work experience with Python (Programming Language)
• Expertise in Back-End Web Development • Proficiency in Software Development specially in Django framework, Fast API, Rest APIs, AWS
• Experience in Programming and Databases
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Relevant certifications in Python and related frameworks are preferred

The Impact you will create:

• Build campaign generation services which can send app notifications at a speed of 10 million a minute

• Dashboards to show Real time key performance indicators to clients

• You will build backend services and APIs to create scalable engineering systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of product development, from design, through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance

• Translating high-level requirements and end-user use cases into design proposals, decomposing complex features into smaller, short-term deliverable tasks

• Maintaining constant focus on scalability, performance and robustness of architecture

• Designing and implementing logging, monitoring and alerting systems for existing and new infrastructure

• Documenting API's and architecture design

• Mentor and guide juniors on their path to become solid developers

   

What we look for?

• 4+ of industry experience in technical leadership roles

• Solid knowledge of Python, SQL, NoSQL, shell scripting and Linux operating environment

• End-to-end experience in design and development of highly scalable enterprise and cloud data products

• Ability to challenge and redefine existing architecture to create robust, scalable and reliable products

• Hands-on experience with design and troubleshooting of scalable web services, queue based systems, distributed databases and streaming services

• Experience with modern DevOps technologies such as kOps, Kubernetes and Docker, CI/CD, monitoring and autoscaling

What you need to have:

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

Additional Job requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Math or equivalent
• BS in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional software development experience: designing, developing, and delivering software written in Java, C#, or C++, web development.
• Knowledgeable in object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience building highly scalable and distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service-oriented architecture and application/services development
• Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization

• Having experience in Hospitality/Travel/Internet/Online/Start-up/IT/Logistic/Courier/Cargo/ Transportation would be preferable.

• Work on building scalable backend platform for customer & seller apps, brands platform, demand generation platform, supply chain & logistics platform, credit platform and several cross platform software components
• Participate in the process to fundamentally change the food and grocery ecosystem in India, and impact billions of people through technology, mobile, and data science

Requirements:

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has-

• BE/BTech degree in Computer Science from a top engineering school
• 1-5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong problem solving skills and strong command on object oriented design, data structures, algorithms and other computer science fundamentals.
• Strong coding skills - professional experience in developing production-quality software in Java/Python
• Expertise in Web Services, Service-oriented architecture, Databases, NoSQL, Distributed systems, Cloud Technologies.
• Extreme software engineering skills to design and develop low-latency, high availability, internet-scale web services
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle and software engineering best practices
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Demonstrated ability to own software design and development end to end from requirements to launch.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
