Software Engineer - Java

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Hands-on GoLang development
• Go Lang developers perform tasks related to the design, development, modification, and administration of software systems and applications.
• Comfortable with algorithm design, scripting, and unit testing.
• Demonstrated skills in debugging, design patterns, and enterprise resource planning.
• Is skilled at problem-solving.

Must have skills :

● You must have 2+ years Golang experience.

● You must have (React.js or Node.js or Python or Java )experience.

● You must have any Frontent or Backend Technology with Golang 

Skills:

• Expertise in Python 3 on AWS serverless
• Experience in AWS serverless stack Appsync, Lambda, Cognito, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, SQS, S3, Code commit & Code Deploy.
• Proficient in modern microservice-based architectures and methodologies.
• Experience in a database technology, preferably No-SQL such as AWS DynamoDB.
• Build human-centric UX with us using technologies like React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and CSS-in-JS.
• Experience building data processing pipelines (SQS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, or similar)
• Deep technical hands-on experience developing in REST/JSON or SOAP/XML, combined with strong knowledge of concepts such as CORs (Cross Origins Resources), headers, security, JSON and http concept.
• Experience with Github and advanced Github features (good to have).
• Must have worked as a part of Agile Teams and DevOps practices such as continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins), code repository, creating CI/CD pipelines is required.

• Complete experience in the Spring Framework
• proficient knowledge of SQL and NoSQL must
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high availability and performance
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code

Looking candidated from service base or service division of any company.
Minimum Qualification​:

• Hands-on working on Java ( {Language understanding - Java 8, Lambdas, Collections, popular frameworks & libraries}, JVM, GC tuning, performance tuning)
• Worked on REST frameworks/libraries like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Dropwizard, REST Express etc
• Worked on Relational data stores viz. MySQL, Oracle or Postgres
• Worked on Non-relational data stores viz. Cassandra, HBase, Couchbase, MongoDB etc
• Worked on caching infra viz. Redis, Memcached, Aerospike, Riak etc
• Worked on Queueing infra viz. Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ etc

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-5 years of work experience in the development background, with at least 2 years experience in Java, Spring, Sprint Boot, Hibernate or JPA, MySQL, Oracle, Spring MVC.
• B.E. degree in Computer Science, Graduate in Software Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in Core JAVA, Spring, Spring Boot Frameworks.
• Experience with ORM's like Hibernate.
• Good knowledge of developing RESTful web services using Spring Boot, Java1.x,Servlet2.4, JSP2.0, JDBC3.0, Java Mail, Struts2.x, HTML, HTML5, Angular7+, JavaScript, JSF, Bootstrap2.x-3.x, JQuery & CSS 3.x, Maven 3.x, Apache Tomcat7
• Knowledge of Cloud AWS.
• Experience in any Messaging Queue e.g. Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, etc.
• Experience on Web services with REST and SOAP.
• Experience working on tool set like Eclipse IDE, SQL clients.
• Experience using application server like Jboss, TomCat, Wildfly, glassfish.
• Experience in using tools like SOAP UI, POSTMAN
• Ability to write SQL queries to fetch data.
• Knowledge of Micro services, Redis Cache and Mongo DB (or any other NoSQL) is good to have

Mentor To Go is an android and web based platform to help students improve their work readiness through self-learning sessions, personalised mentorship provided by mentor professionals from a range of careers, and work experience opportunities.

The technology platform implements  functionalities such as: screening surveys of mentors and mentees, training content for mentors, matching through an algorithm, and mentorship through the delivery of structured activities. 

The application technology architecture comprises of the following:

o   a Python Django web application with NGinx and Gunicorn

o   PostgreSQL database

o   A React Android and Web app

o   Rest APIs which interact between the Android app and the Django webserver

We are looking for a backend software developer who is passionate about using web technologies to solve social problems and creating experiences that are elegant and effective. You will own the back end development of features of the Mentor To Go platform from conceptualisation through design and testing, working closely with other developers, the technical project manager, and the program operations team. You are user-centric, continuously demonstrate strategic & analytical abilities, and are laser focused on executing at speed. You must have the ability to succeed in a fast paced environment, where success is dependent on your ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members in a positive, productive, and transparent way.

Minimum requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably  CS  or related discipline  
• 3+ years experience working in Unix/Linux environments building web and mobile applications
• Proficiency in developing and deploying cloud based Python/Postgresql applications preferably using frameworks such as Django
• Experience with design and development of moderately complex software projects
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with version control software such as Git

Desired  requirements 

• 5+ years of overall relevant work experience
• Experience building apps using React/React-Native
• Basic understanding of AWS cloud
• Ability to participate in technical discussions and help make technical trade-offs
