Applications Engineer Responsibilities:



Collaborating on software development projects with the engineering, sales, and customer services departments.



Liaising with clients and incorporating user-defined needs and feedback into application designs.



Writing code and scripts for applications, as well as installing, maintaining, and testing applications.



Providing clients with technical support. Documenting development processes, procedures, and application version histories.



Keeping up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies.

Applications Engineer Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.



An experience of 2-5yrs as an applications engineer.



Previous experience in sales or customer services will be advantageous.



Advanced proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, SQL, .NET, and C.

Extensive experience in deploying, optimizing, and maintaining software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Exceptional customer services and interpersonal skills.

 Superb collaboration and communication skills.

 Great organizational and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hands-On Development:

• Design & Implementation: Build scalable, secure, and high-quality features using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve complex technical issues to maintain product stability.

2. Collaboration:

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the engineering team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimization & Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for enhancement.

3. Code Quality:

• Code Reviews: Participate in thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Best Practices: Contribute to establishing and refining engineering best practices.

4. Knowledge Sharing:

• Documentation: Document technical solutions and share insights to foster knowledge sharing.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior developers and help them grow technically.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Architecture Knowledge: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system design principles.
• Database Expertise: Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• DevOps Familiarity: Exposure to modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SaaS Startups Experience: Prior experience working in SaaS startups or lean teams.
• Frontend Exposure: Familiarity with front-end technologies like ReactJS (optional but advantageous).

·        Proven record of handling the development right from Requirement Gathering to implementation and Support.

·        Managing the delivery and leading the team through all stages of the Development.

·        Exposure to Deployment, maintenance and support.

Key Requirements

• BE/ BTech or MTech/ Dual degree in Computer Science/Software engineering or similar from a tier 1 institute
• Fullstack development (Node.js or Python + React + React Native + GCP/AWS)
