• Designing and developing Ruby on Rails web applications/webservices in an agile environment

• Implement AJAX features and functionality using Javascript Integrate and optimise HTML/CSS front-ends Solid experience with RoR, MySQL/Cassandra, Shell Scripting Strong experience in Angular, Javascript, HTML/CSS and web services
• Working experience in using Jquery and D3 Experience in converting UI/UX design to HTML elements/assets
• Experience with SCRUM or equivalent Agile development methodologies
• A good understanding of usability and accessibility, including coding to WAI standards

• Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.

• Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.
• Integrating data storage solutions.
• Creating back-end components.

Ruby on Rails Developer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Must have more than 6 months+ in depth experience in Ruby on Rails
• Experience working with ruby on rails as well as libraries like Resque and RSpec.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming
• Ability to write clean ruby code.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git, Github, SVN, and Mercurial.
• Understanding of web services technologies such as REST is required.
• Good experience and understanding of continuous integration and deployment process.
• Knowledge in working with AWS or other cloud platform
• Experience in working with limited direction while exceeding delivery expectations.
• Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS.
• Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM.

Job Overview:

As a Software Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend solutions for our software applications. You will be responsible for making strategic technical decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products with scalable backend infrastructure. 

Responsibilities:

• System Architecture:
• Design and architect scalable, efficient, and maintainable backend systems.

• Technical Leadership:

Qualifications:

• Overall 10+ years of experience, with 2+ years as a Software Architect with a focus on backend development using Ruby on Rails.
• In-depth knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework, database design, and API development.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with performance optimization, scalability, and security considerations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide development teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Bonus points:

• Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks(ReactJs).
• Experience with other programming languages.(Kotlin/Python)
