Profile Overview : We, at myU, are looking for passionate coders and technology enthusiasts, who are problem solvers at heart. Developers @ myU are involved in everything from understanding the user problem, identifying solutions, brainstorming on the tech stack to be used, to architecture, deployment and scaling. Key Responsibilities : -Assume a strong sense of ownership of the product : Design, develop & deploy -Provide quick & creative solutions for day-to-day operational issues -Ensure Quality & sustainability of the architecture Candidate Profile: -B.Tech -1+ years of tech experience of having built scalable systems. -Strong coding, designing, testing skills. -Should be comfortable with the linux operating system. -Can work on multiple technologies like PHP and Java. -Should be comfortable with mysql Desired Skills & Experience: -Experience in Java, PHP or any other scripting language. -Exposure to MVC frameworks such as Rails, Spring, Django, CodeIgniter. -Experience in application performance optimisations, database tuning & designing large & scalable system is a plus. -In depth knowledge in one or more areas: Backend End services, API Development, Database design.

myU is a school communication and announcement tool. It acts as an internal social network for each school composed of students, faculty members, clubs and organizations. The app makes it easy to connect with anyone in the school community, and makes communications real-time and sharing fun. myU is ideal for a faculty member wanting to send a class announcement to students, an organization looking to promote its events and activities, or a student looking to ask about a missing homework, an exam date or to speak their mind to their peers at school. myU is a smartphone app that runs on iOS and Android devices, and acts as a third party cloud based service. The technology requires no integration with the school’s systems.
