As part of this mission, we’re thrilled to announce we are open a new office in Hyderabad! We’re recruiting for several Engineering roles covering backend services (Java).

About the Role

We’re seeking Senior Java Engineer to join the development of our new product suite (online portal, PropertyPay & PropertyConnect). As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating robust, scalable, and intuitive applications that empower customers to handle Real Estate transactions including international payments with ease.

This is a new role, based out of the Hyderabad area. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of our new product development and will have significant opportunity to take ownership of some of our upcoming feature

What You'll Do

• Design and Development: Create robust, efficient, and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• API Development: Design, build, and maintain APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Performance and Security: Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Cloud Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services into our backend infrastructure.
• Code Quality: Write high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
• Mentorship: Support junior and mid-level team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Experience showing strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating user-centric solutions.
• Core backend proficiency and Modern backend framework
• Understanding of Spring components like controllers, services, repositories, and security.
• RESTful API Development: Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Bonus Points

• Mastery over Java’s core APIs, such as collections, streams, and concurrency frameworks.
• Experience within a B2B fintech environment would be highly desirable

• More than 5 years of experience in Java programming  
• Frameworks like Spring(Boot, Core, MVC)or Hibernate 
• Good knowledge in design and architectural patterns, with an understanding of Web Services, micro service architectures and REST Based APIs. 
• Good knowledge in Agile, JIRA and ALM 
• Cloud environments (AWS,Azure…) 
• Good Database knowledge (Oracle/ MySQL) 
• Previous exposure to banking or financial is preferable 
• Desire to get into the development of a top core-banking platform; you will receive specific training on Temenos T24 according to your career plan.  

• Java – Spring, Hibernate, Data Structures & Algorithms
  • Knowledge on a Database system.
  3+ years of experience in software development.

Preferably BE/B-Tech engineering degree, but not a must.
• 3 years’ experience developing server-side Java – Spring, Hibernate and REST
• Full-SDLC cycle, with large-scale live roll-out participation as a developer.
• Expert understanding of the object-oriented design and programming concepts
• Good understanding of relational and non-relational database/datastores/caches best practices and challenges
• Have a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
• Proficient in Git and familiarity with continuous integration
• A team player who values collaboration, innovation, and inclusion
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

We are looking for a Tech with a proficiency in backend technologies to design, develop a new state-of-the-art, paradigm changing product in software development. Responsibilities include evaluating technologies, developing proof-of concept prototypes, designing, and developing complete end-to-end products.

What makes you a suitable candidate?

• 1+ years of experience in designing and developing large scale, complex software applications
• Strong analytical, problem solving and design skills
• Strong knowledge of data structure, algorithms, and coding
• Proven experience in any high-level programming languages like Python, Django, DRF, Elasticsearch etc
• Knowledge of MVC architecture and hands-on experience with Spring, Spring security, Spring boot, and Hibernate framework
• Proven experience in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB).
• Working knowledge of developing Restful Micro services, ORM technologies etc
• Experience in container-based deployments
• Working experience in Amazon DynamoDB, Docker, AWS-Lambda
• Experience with Messaging technologies like Kakfa, RabbitMQ, redis etc
• Ability to multitask
• Good communication, organizational and leadership skills

Job Description:

• Resource should be proficient in analyzing, designing and developing applications based on the requirements provided by business counterparts
• Developing and maintaining applications developed in Java, J2EE, Struts and Spring and possessing 3-layer architecture
• Good knowledge in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular JS, Docker, VUE JS and AWS
• Applications development or maintenance using ORM tools such as Hibernate
• Database management which includes DB design and maintenance, mostly related to 2016 and Oracle 19c, DB2
• Should have knowledge in Unix / Linux OS.
• Should have good knowledge in Shell scripting language
• Strictly adhere to the internal SDLC process quality standards set but the organization and providing the drive to the team to achieve the KPI and SLA targets
• Flexible to work in extended time
• Candidate should have good experience on Java / J2EE, Springboot, Hibernate / JPA, Oracle query, Web Services and Rabbit MQ.
• Should have minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience. Should be able to work on enhancement, maintenance and production support.
• Good to have hands-on experience on DEVOPS & API development.
