• Must have minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development
• Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java / Node.js / Go / Python (any 1).
• Must have experience or familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React / Angular / Vue.
• Must have at least 1+ year of experience leading or mentoring a team of software engineers.
• Must have a solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Must have hands-on experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Top-tier/renowned product-based company (preferred Entreprise B2B SaaS)

Preferred

• Experience in building or scaling SaaS / platform-based products
• Exposure to GenAI / LLMs, data pipelines, or workflow automation tools
• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth product environment

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on building scalable, secure, and intelligent enterprise software. The ideal candidate is a strong technologist who enjoys coding, mentoring, and driving high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers across backend, frontend, and integration areas.
• Drive architectural design, technical reviews, and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases on time.
• Establish best practices in agile development, testing automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build reusable frameworks for low-code app development and AI-driven workflows.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineers to strengthen technical capabilities and team culture.

Ideal Candidate

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science from a Tier-1 Engineering College.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with at least 1 year mentoring or managing engineers.
• Strong expertise in backend development (Java / Node.js / Go / Python) and familiarity with frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue).
• Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and cloud architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building or scaling SaaS or platform-based products.
• Exposure to GenAI/LLM, data pipelines, or workflow automation tools.
• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth product environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate flows based on business needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement low-code/no-code solutions and custom components.
• Assist in testing, debugging, and deploying solutions across environments.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
• Ensure solutions align with business goals and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including:
• Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
• Power Automate
• Dynamics 365
• Working knowledge of:
• Power FX
• CDS/Dataverse
• Integration with SharePoint or third-party systems
• Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Onsite role at Kalyani Nagar, Pune

You will demonstrate a combination of technical leadership and business acumen by making appropriate trade-offs of technical integrity, complexity, time to market and cost. You are a stellar engineer and will write production quality code 70-80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features spanning across systems in a manner that satisfies requirements of performance, scale, security and robustness
• Contribute to improvement of technology and execution processes in the company
• Collaborate in setting technology standards with technology leaders across the company
• Serve as a knowledge centre on current and emerging technologies, and help train others when required
• Foster a strong technical culture by mentoring other engineers
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies, evaluate new tools
• Should open to work on Golang.

Relevant Experience and Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in system-level design of large scale distributed systems on OOPs, and experience with web services and service oriented architectures
• Have 7 - 13 years of professional experience in software development.
• Extensive experience with modern open source systems including relational / non relational data stores.
• Experience with AWS stack, at least the common datastores and services
• Experience with containerization technologies and concepts including Docker
• Basic knowledge about security concepts and secure coding
• Excellent analytical, conceptual and communication skills in spoken and written English.
