Responsibilities:

• Develop server-side components, REST APIs
• Assume ownership for existing and new modules including design, development, and unit testing for enhancements of existing modules and development of new modules.
• Analyse problems logically and exercise sound judgment in defining, evaluating, and solving difficult technical and operational problems where solutions may be of a precedent-establishing nature.
• Lead the design and architectural improvements
• Participate and collaborate with team members in design discussions, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, suggest enhancements to architecture, implement POCs, and enhance application.
• Reduce technical debt with quality coding

 

Requirements:

• A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BS or MS in CS or related field) from IITs and Premier Engineering College.
• Excellent Object Orientation, coupled with excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
• Highly skilled at Java and related technologies, including Java Frameworks like Spring-boot or Drop wizard, RESTful web services, JSON, Servlet, JSP, MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, AWS Solr.
• Must have hands-on experience in building scalable and secure back end systems.
• Have hands-on experience with systems that are asynchronous, RESTful and demand concurrency
• Good to have knowledge of best software engineering practices for all stages of the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, deployment.

3 to 5 years plus experience on having implemented Hybris Commerce Solution.
Working experience of Java, Spring and Hibernate is must
Working experience of customizing Hybris Accelerators
Proficient in Hybris core concepts and commerce concepts including, but not limited to, Hybris PCM Data Modeling, Endeca/SOLR, WCMS/ Customer
Experience Manager, Cockpits, Cron jobs, internationalization,
personalization, security concepts and REST.
Proficient in catalog, order management, promotions, B2B commerce.
Should have experience of handling multi/Omni-channel architecture
through related Hybris Channel management modules.
Good understanding of integration patterns/methodologies of Hybris with
Organic SEO Search, Faceted Search and Commerce Search.
Should have exposure on the continuous integration build tools and code quality tools
Working experience of Integration with external services such as payment gateways, Order management solution using Web services such as REST and SOAP
Working experience of SOLR Search Engine is a plus

Build data systems and pipelines using Apache Flink (or similar) pipelines.
Understand various raw data input formats, build consumers on Kafka/ksqldb for them and ingest large amounts of raw data into Flink and Spark.
Conduct complex data analysis and report on results.
Build various aggregation streams for data and convert raw data into various logical processing streams.
Build algorithms to integrate multiple sources of data and create a unified data model from all the sources.
Build a unified data model on both SQL and NO-SQL databases to act as data sink.
Communicate the designs effectively with the fullstack engineering team for development.
Explore machine learning models that can be fitted on top of the data pipelines.

Mandatory Qualifications Skills:

Deep knowledge of Scala and Java programming languages is mandatory
Strong background in streaming data frameworks (Apache Flink, Apache Spark) is mandatory
Good understanding and hands on skills on streaming messaging platforms such as Kafka
Familiarity with R, C and Python is an asset
Analytical mind and business acumen with strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
Problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication and presentation skills
