Job Title: Node.js Developer

Position Overview:

As a Node.js Developer at Code B, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing scalable and efficient server-side applications using Node.js
• Developing RESTful APIs to support front-end applications
• Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure smooth application performance
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in Node.js development

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
• Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks
• Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies (preferred)

• Develop new functionalities on the Company platform, in close collaboration with the Product team
• Analyse and correct anomalies across the various environments
• Propose and participate in the platform evolution
• Contribute to the platform architecture, ensure strong code quality (tests & code reviews) and adherence to best practices
• Mentor and support junior developers

• Have thorough knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• Possess the ability in Angular js, React js
• Top-notch programming skills, ability to produce quality code that is maintainable, efficient, reliable and secure.
• Development of APIs as required. Rest or Soap API integration.
• Strong knowledge of MVC is required
• Must Know Framework like Laravel, CodeIgniter, Cake Php, Yii
• Have experience in MySQL, MariaDB databases.
• Distributed version control and regular deployments.
• Have Good Communication skills.

Must have:

• Knowledge on design, development and deployment of applications based on CMS and Dot Net technology framework
• Strong Analytical, Logical Reasoning and Problem-Solving skills
• Strong in SDLC concepts, RDBMS concepts and SQL/PL-SQL, Data Structures
• Ability to effectively work with a highly technical and virtually located team

Good to have:

• Considerable knowledge in the following: Drupal, .NET MVC, PHP, CSS, Angular, jQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, DevOps, Agile software development 
• Exposure to mobile application development using any one of the mobile development platforms (iOS, Android, Windows)
