Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Node.js and React.js, and a solid understanding of Microservices Architecture.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Gurgaon, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced development environment.

Mandatory Skills :

Node.js, React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Git, HTML5, CSS3, JWT

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js (backend) and React.js (frontend).
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices in a production-grade environment.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA, DevOps, and product managers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code adhering to best practices.
• Ensure system reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
• Debug and resolve production issues efficiently.

Must-Have Skills :

• 5+ Years of full-stack development experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Solid hands-on experience in Microservices Architecture and containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good to Have :

• Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.

Beyond strong technical ability and cultural fit, we are looking for someone who demonstrates:

• Minimum 1 year of professional web development experience
• A portfolio showcasing real-world projects or contributions (personal or professional)
• Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with working experience in modern frameworks
• Practical experience with React (mandatory)
• Ability to build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with attention to UX best practices
• Experience integrating APIs and working with JSON-based data
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Basic understanding of backend concepts, preferably with exposure to Node.js, Java, or Python
• Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing codebases
• Good understanding of performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and learning-oriented mindset

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build scalable and loosely coupled services to extend our platform
• Build bulletproof API integrations with third-party APIs for various use cases
• Evolve our Infrastructure and add a few more nines to our overall availability
• Have full autonomy and own your code, and decide on the technologies and tools to deliver as well operate large-scale applications on AWS
• Give back to the open-source community through contributions on code and blog posts
• This is a startup so everything can change as we experiment with more product improvements

Some specific Requirements:

• Atleast 2+ years of Development Experience
• You have prior experience developing and working on consumer-facing web/app products
• Hands-on experience in JavaScript. Exceptions can be made if you’re really good at any other language with experience in building web/app-based tech products
• Expertise in Node.JS and Experience in at least one of the following frameworks - Express.js, Koa.js, Socket.io (http://socket.io/)
• Good knowledge of async programming using Callbacks, Promises, and Async/Await
• Hands-on experience with Frontend codebases using HTML, CSS, and AJAX
• Working knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, MySQL
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems
• You've worked with AWS services in the past and have experience with EC2, ELB, AutoScaling, CloudFront, S3
• Experience with Frontend Stack would be added advantage (HTML, CSS)
• You might not have experience with all the tools that we use but you can learn those given the guidance and resources
• Experience in Vue.js would be plus

Requirements:

• 3+ years of web development experience using Node.js or similar web technologies

• Well-versed with front-end code in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React.js with familiarity in various frameworks and template languages

• Possess strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.

• Proficient with database design, optimization and tuning in MySQL or MongoDB

• Experience in design patterns, unit testing, automation techniques (Selenium WebDriver)

• Exposure to Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, SQS, Redshift, etc.)

• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes

• Exposure to collaborating tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence

• Experience in frameworks such as Symfony 2, Express.js, or proven ability to learn on the job

• Experience in Microservices and REST architecture

• Exposure to Scrum methodology and XP technical practices such as unit testing, pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration or continuous delivery

∙MERN stack: JavaScript - MongoDB - Express - ReactJS - Node,  

∙MEAN stack: JavaScript - MongoDB - Express - AngularJS - Node.js

Requirements:

∙Professional experience with JavaScript and associated web technologies (CSS, semantic HTML). 

∙Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment. 

∙Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions. 

∙Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems. 

∙Comfort working in a highly agile software development process. 

∙Positive and solution-oriented mindset. 

∙Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution. 

∙Strong sense of ownership with the eagerness to design and deliver significant and impactful technology solutions. 

∙Demonstrated ability to work closely with other parts of the organization.
