Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Java and Angular/React
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Maintain code quality through code reviews and automated testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in full stack development using Java and Angular/React
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with back-end development including RESTful API design
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using programming

languages such as Java.

Implement backend services using frameworks like Spring Boot and frontend

interfaces using frameworks like React.

Apply deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures to solve complex problems

efficiently.

Optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design, implement, and manage data storage

solutions.

Ensure data integrity and optimize database queries.

Leverage open-source tools and frameworks to develop scalable and maintainable

solutions.

Stay updated on the latest trends in open-source technologies.

Utilize Linux systems for development and deployment.

Automate and streamline processes using Linux tools and scripts.

Develop and maintain mobile applications that align with user requirements and

business goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with backend

systems.

Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to bring ideas to

life.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality

deliverables.

Developer – Full stack

·        Full stack development experience for 1-2 years

·        Implement new application features and improvements to existing features based on defined project requirements.

·        Experience with React or Angular framework

·        Familiarity of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills.

·        Experience developing server side applications in at least Java 8.

·        Experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy new features and applications

·        Ability to write and optimize SQL queries and database performance tuning

·        Familiar using source control systems, preferably Git.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs

·        Passionate about developing high quality code that has been thoroughly tested.

·        Strong written and verbal communications skills.

·        Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

·        Implement automated testing and continuous integration and deployment processes

·        Ability to learn quickly.

Good to have skills

·        Python, Flask, Fast API knowledge

·        Cloud knowledge – preferably AWS

·        Understanding of graph database

·        Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

What you need to shine?

• You have the prior experience in modernising legacy applications.
• You are a passionate hands-on developer with deep experience in building enterprise grade software in Microsoft ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SOA, Micro-Services and RESTful Services with knowledge of SQL Server database.
• You have the ability to see and work on the big picture (Application Architecture) and devilish details (Complex Code).
• Strong experience in developing web applications using C#, VB.Net, .NET, LINQ, Net Framework 4.0, MVC 3/4/5, ASP.NET Web API, .Net Core etc.
• You are Cloud savvy, preferably Google Cloud.
• You have rich experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with good knowledge of practical design-patterns and its applications.

Hands-on experience in building SOA or Micro-services preferably on .NET Core.

Proven Architectural skills with high standards in Code quality

Knowledge of ReactJS/Typescript would be added advantage.

Practical experience in Agile development methodologies of using CI/CD.
