Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Frontend Developer with 2–4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will build engaging, responsive, and high-performing eCommerce experiences using Shopify themes and modern frontend technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understand client requirements and provide technical solutions and effort estimates
• Convert Figma/XD designs into functional and visually accurate Shopify pages
• Build responsive, mobile-first experiences for all device types
• Optimize website speed, including Core Web Vitals and performance metrics
• Implement custom features using Shopify APIs and third-party integrations
• Ensure SEO best practices and web accessibility standards
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues across browsers and devices
• Stay updated on Shopify platform developments and eCommerce trends

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2–4 years in Shopify frontend/theme development
• Shopify Expertise: Strong knowledge of Liquid and theme customization
• Proven experience customizing paid themes like Impulse, Prestige, Motion, Impact
• Hands-on expertise with Dawn and Horizon, including architecture-level understanding
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), responsive design
• Experience with modern frameworks like React or Vue.js
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows

Position Overview:

As a Frontend Developer at FatakPay, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into responsive and intuitive user interfaces. Working closely with our design and backend development teams, you will play a key role in crafting visually appealing and highly functional web applications.

Position: React JS Developer

Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Experience: 3-5 Years

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
• Identifying web-based user interactions.
• Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts.
• Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React.js workflows.
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Collaborating with other team members.
• Supporting software deployment and provide post production support (as and when needed)
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience developing and implementing software applications.
• Previous experience working as a React.js Developer.
• Knowledge in e-Commerce domain will be a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
• Experience with REST API's 
• In-depth understanding of Javascript, the DOM, and relevant concepts.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. 
• Experience with user interface design.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Github.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Strong understanding of JS fundamentals and going deep into it coupled with experience in modern frameworks like ReactJs, Vuejs etc.
• The ideal person has worked with product teams in startups and taken features (or entire product modules) to production deployment which was then consumed by real users.
• Proficiency in building a highly scalable frontend.

• Should have hands-on experience in advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, Bootstrap, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, etc. (ReactJS is Mandatory) 
• Proficient in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS and experience in building/using REST APIs    
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
