Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain frontend components using AEM Sites.

· Integrate AEM with React/Angular for enhanced user interfaces.

· Work with AEM templates, components, dialogs, and client libraries.

· Collaborate with backend AEM developers and designers to implement dynamic and responsive web features.

· Ensure code quality through unit testing and best practices.

· Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.

· Support AEM content authors with technical implementation and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Bring:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

· Proven experience delivering high-quality web applications.

Mandatory Skills:

· 3+ years of frontend development experience with React.js or Angular.

· 2+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

· Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

· Experience with AEM client libraries, Sightly (HTL), Sling models, and component development.

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.

· Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.

· Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

² Current SDE 3 designation or equivalent experience in a senior development role.

² 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies, particularly React.

² Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS, with a deep understanding of modern web development practices.

² Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and routing solutions.

² Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Babel).

² Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and test-driven development (TDD).

² Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

Reporting to the founder, you will be expected to develop, deploy and oversee the execution of the tech strategy, product road-map and operations to ensure alignment with our businesses goals as we grow and scale. You will play a key part in the organisation's success, taking the current MVP and developing it further to move the company through to early stage funding and into profit.

Quesst's is built using React.js [Frontend], Node.js [Backend], PostgreSQL [DB], Amazon EC2 [Application Hosting], Amazon S3 [Media Storage Service], and Amazon SES [Email Sending Service]. You will be responsible for implementing full-stack features and collaborate with other team members to plan each sprint. You’ll be working across the entire system architecture and be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining restful APIs, micro-services and databases.

Requirements and Qualifications
