About the Role

We are looking for highly motivated React Fresher Developers who are passionate about building modern, scalable web applications. If you have completed a full-stack or React development course and are eager to apply your skills in real-world projects, we would love to hear from you.

Mandatory Requirements

Completed a 6-month structured certification program in one of the following:

• Full-Stack Development (MERN / MEAN / Django + React)
• React.js Development

Solid understanding of:

• React fundamentals (Hooks, Props, State, Components)
• Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• REST APIs and asynchronous data handling
• Git / GitHub (basic usage acceptable)
• At least one completed academic or internship project demonstrating your coding skills.

Preferred / Bonus Advantage

Experience with chatbots or AI-powered conversational interfaces is a plus. This could include:

• Platforms / frameworks like Dialogflow, RASA, IBM Watson, Botpress, or OpenAI API
• Custom chatbot development using Node.js or Python
• A project demonstrating chatbot integration or implementation

Note: A chatbot-related project or feature will be considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Position Overview: Front-End Developer (Next.js)

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Next.js and React.js. The ideal candidate will build and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies and best practices in performance, SEO, and rendering techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js
• Implement CSR, SSR, and SSG using Next.js best practices
• Build reusable, modular UI components following clean front-end architecture
• Integrate and manage REST APIs for data retrieval, caching, and error handling (React Query or similar)
• Optimize applications for performance, SEO, and accessibility
• Collaborate with backend engineers and UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality user interfaces
• Debug, test, and document code to ensure maintainability and scalability

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Next.js fundamentals (routing, rendering techniques, API routes)
• Proficiency with React Hooks and understanding of component lifecycle
• Solid experience integrating REST APIs and handling errors effectively
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as React Query, Redux, or Zustand
• Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• 7–10 years of front-end development experience

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Proven experience with React.js and related technologies (e.g., Redux, React Router, Hooks, Context API).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Server Sent Events, WebSockets
• Hand’s on experience with web components, microfrontends
• Deep understanding of browser apis like history, intersectionobserver, event handling, virtual panes, drag and drop etc
• Ability to work on a complex and fast moving code base.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and its integration with React applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Design the overall architecture of the web application.
• Maintain code integrity, and quality, and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Address and improve any technical issues.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Must have strong experience in designing and maintaining a database.
• Work with modern frameworks and design patterns, minimum one-year experience with Full stack paradigm required.
• Handle technical queries raised by the development team and provide support and guidance to them.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform testing, and optimize application performance
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to design and create advanced, elegant, and efficient systems.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency with 3 - 5 years of experience.
• Expertise in Laravel and a good understanding of other core PHP frameworks using REST APIs.
• Professional, definite communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Extensive experience in designing and maintaining databases such as MySQL.
• Mastery of CMS such as WordPress and Magento is an advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of version controlling – GIT.
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
• Optimizing client and server-side code for maximum speed.

• Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes (for stakeholder discussions/approvals), user interface specifications, and final graphics with a strong visual design element

What makes a great Product Designer for University Living?

• 3-6 years of experience in Product (UI/UX) Design
• At least B.Tech. degree with a background in consumer internet products
• Proficiency in Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, CorelDraw, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• Strong believer in mobile-first and responsive design
• Understands the latest in visual and interaction design trends.
