We are actively expanding our presence across schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and educational organizations, and are looking for a highly motivated Marketing & Business Development Intern to help drive our growth.

We are looking for an energetic, confident, and results-driven individual who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and creating business opportunities.

This is not a desk-only marketing role. The ideal candidate will actively engage with educational institutions, attend industry events, network with decision-makers, generate leads, and help convert prospects into long-term clients.

+ Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with professionals in the education sector.
• Network with school administrators, college management, educators, and decision-makers.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities through both online and offline channels.
• Visit schools, colleges, coaching centers, and educational institutions to introduce AcadSync's products and services.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.
• Attend education conferences, networking events, exhibitions, seminars, and industry meetups.
• Follow up with leads and guide them through the sales process.
• Convert qualified leads into paying clients.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, meetings, and client interactions.
• Work closely with the founding team to develop and execute growth strategies.
• Explore partnerships and collaborations that can help expand AcadSync's reach.
• Continuously identify creative ways to generate leads and increase brand visibility.

+ What Success Looks Like:

The primary objective of this role is to help AcadSync expand its presence in the education sector by generating qualified leads, building relationships, and converting institutions into long-term clients.

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, enjoys meeting people, and is excited about helping transform education through technology.

1. Conduct counseling sessions addressing IT-related matters

2. Evaluate students' technical skills and align them with career interests in the IT field

3. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and students to comprehend their specific IT-related needs

4. Develop personalized academic and career plans tailored for the IT industry

5. Guide academic improvement, emphasizing IT skill development

6. Assist in cultivating technical skills relevant to the IT sector

7. Coordinate informative sessions on IT courses and career pathways

8. Maintain accurate records of student's progress and counselling sessions

Requirements:

1. Education: Minimum of 12th pass or Graduation

2. Experience: 1 year, preferably with a 12th-grade qualification

3. Languages: Proficient in English

4. Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and empathy, particularly within an IT context

What You’ll Do

• Design financial systems for scale. Measure, plan, iterate.
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Setup and own the engineering architectures built around event sourcing, application sharding, database sharding, service communication mesh, etc.
• The tech: Go, Google Cloud Spanner, Kafka, Redis

What you bring to the table

• 3+ years of experience. Relevant experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of 2 common programming languages - Python & Go / Java & Node / Rust
• Comfortable in linux command line, AWS or GCP
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Great communication skills
