Job Description:

§ Understanding client requirements & functional specifications.

§ Developing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language - one or more from Python, JavaScript, NodeJS

· Proficient knowledge of back-end server frameworks - Flask

· Proficient knowledge in handling any from JSON, XML & YAML

· Databases: MongoDB

· Proficient In configuring backend in Nginx Server

· Experience in building the API services from scratch - Project structuring, setting up environment objects, build reusable components, etc,

· IDE: Visual Studio Code, PyCharm Notepad++.

· Should have excellent written & oral communication skills (English)

· Must have the capacity to work independently and also as a part of a team

What you will be doing:

• SATISFIC is a product-based company; hence will be required to work on product development and support.
• Need to work on the following technologies – Angular, Node JS, Core Web API and PostgreSQL.
• SATISFIC’s product is hosted in AWS. This will provide you with an opportunity to work on the latest cloud technologies
• Coding computer programs.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code and libraries for future use.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Timely completion of daily assigned projects as per requirements
• Complete adherence to all metrics and parameters associated with each project through completion of project.
• Effective Time management.
• Mentor and assist Trainee/ Junior Software Engineers to complete assigned tasks.
• Check coding standards and deliverables against each project/product specifications for their own and their junior engineers before delivery.
• Develop module specification documents for internal purpose.
• Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop innovative solutions that improve the efficiency and reliability of the deliverables and system.

About your experience:

• Total work experience of more than 5 years and minimum 3+ years in development
• Has led a team of developers and coders on Node js
• 3-4 years of proven experience in Node.Js and frameworks available for it.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Expertise with Services (REST, SOAP, JSON) and APIs (Service-oriented architectures).
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical abilities
• Project and time management skills
• Quick learner with a positive attitude

Qualifications:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related area from a good institute is preferred

Reports to: Lead- Software Engineering

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features
• Integrate PSD designs to Magento Theme
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize Magento 2 stores for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

 Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Magento 2 Frontend Developer
• Experience in setting up the full UI workflow layer right from Development, Testing, Building and Deployment.
• Strong knowledge of web standards
• Expert Level understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Good understanding of Javascript and JQuery
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Understanding of Basic SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them
• Fair understanding of JavaScript programming and DOM manipulation
• Familiarity with differences in other HTML5 based views, such as ones in email clients
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills
• Should be able to handle project independently

• Lead multiple client projects in the organization. 
• Define & build technical architecture for projects. 
• Introduce & ensure right coding standards within the team and ensure that it is maintained in all the projects. 
• Ensure the quality delivery of projects. 
• Ensure applications are confirmed to security guidelines wherever required. 
• Assist pre-sales/sales team for converting raw requirements from potential clients to functional solutions. 
• Train fellow team members to impose the best practices available. 
• Work on improving and managing processes within the team. 
• Implement innovative ideas throughout the team to improve the overall efficiency and quality of the team.

7+ Years of experience in developing large scale applications. 
Solid Domain Knowledge and experience with various Design Patterns & Data Modelling (Associations, OOPs Concepts etc.)
Should have exposure to multiple backend technologies, and databases - both relational and NOSQL databases
Should be aware of latest conventions for APIs
Preferred hands-on experience with GraphQL as well as REST API
Must be well-aware of the latest technological advancements for relevant platforms. 
Advanced Concepts of Databases - Views, Stored Procedures, Database Optimization - are a good to have.
Should have Research Oriented Approach 
Solid at Logical thinking and Problem solving 
Solid understanding of Coding Standards, Code Review processes and delivery of quality products 
Experience with various Tools used in Development, Tests & Deployments. 
Sound knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline Tools 
Solid experience with Git Workflow on Enterprise projects and larger teams 
Should be good at documentation at project level and code level ; Should have good experience with Agile Methodology and process
Should have a good understanding of server side deployment, scalability, maintainability and handling server security problems.
Should have good understanding on Software UX 
Proficient with communication and good at making software architectural judgments

Position: Senior Java Developer / Tech Lead

Work Location: Bangalore; India

Type of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Experience: 6 to 10 years of Experience

• Proficient in Java/J2EE , core java, full stack development experience ( Database to UX)
• Must be proficient with integration with third-party applications within the enterprise and outside the organizations (API)
• Must be good in writing highly optimized code.
• Must be good at abstracting solutions - reduce time and cost to build
• Experience with Workflow Engines like Activiti will be an advantage
• Good understanding of native Android code/interface with Android apps, if preferable
• Must be an expert in managing data at the application database level - Transaction and Reporting database design

• Experienced with monitoring and observability
• Experienced with production support and debugging (heap dumps, thread dumps etc)
• Experience in Logistics domain is desirable
