Senior Backend Developer (SDE-II) - Java

Some of the tech problems you get to work on as a backend engineer would be to build the backend for a modern spreadsheet experience from scratch, work on infra as code, write robust code that is fault-tolerant, work on performant code that adheres to SLOs set by the organization.

About you:

● 3- 5 years of experience

● You’ve heard of or worked with some of the following tech stacks/products ○ Spring ○ PostgreSQL ○ Redis ○ Docker ○ Message brokers ○ GitHub

● These non-functional areas are familiar to you ○ Performance ○ Debugging ○ Log management

• Experience of more than 4 to 6 years in software development.

• Excellent Java Programming skills Experience in Data Structures, Algorithms and Design Patterns.

A developer is responsible for several Java-related duties throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. The developer is required to create user information solutions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of Java-based components and interfaces.

• To perform requirement analysis and oversee the implementation of architectures of project scope
• To provide customized reusable solutions of project, program or operational scope
• To develop high-quality and detailed designs
• To conduct unit testing using automated unit test frameworks and identify and address possible risk by conducting mitigation action planning
• Conducting configuration of your own work or from the team and assess the technical impact of multiple technologies/strategies
• Reviewing the work of other developers with feedback for improvement (if applicable)
• Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality deliverables
• Contribute as a team member to an operational, integration or application architecture requirements, design, implementation, or on-going operations deliverables

• Good in Backend Springboot
• write Rest API (Should be strong in this area)
• Good Analytical ability, Good coding practice, Knowledge of Spring Security (Desirable),
• UI Knowledge of Angular (Average knowledge should be enough)

Technical Skills/Requirements

 Demonstrated expertise in building, shipping and supporting innovative, scalable

enterprise-class applications

 Strong familiarity with Object Orientation concepts

 Strong Experience in Java, J2EE, Core Java, Advance Java is must

 Strong Experience in working with database server is must

 Experience with web development frameworks like Spring is must.

 Experienced in using Websphere, WebLogic, JBOSS or TomCat application

servers

 Must be knowledgeable in at least one of the relational DBs (Oracle, DB2 or MS-

SQL)

 Experience is Javascript

 Experience in CSS, Angular, EXTJS, Bootstrap, JQuery is preferred

 Experience in JSP, Servlet, Tag Libray,, XSLT, Restful API’s is preferred

 Good understanding of Java, J2EE, SOA/Web services, EAI patterns, long

running business processes, UML and OOAD.

 4+ years of overall software development experience, preferably in a product

Designation: Developer / Lead / Architect - JAVA

Experience - 4+ Years

Work Location - Pune

Responsibilities:

• Own, drive and evolve product systems/subsystems
• Develop, architect highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure and fault-tolerant systems with minimal guidance
• Suggest new architectural elements to improve the existing architecture
• Design and implement low latency RESTful services; Define API contracts between services; Version APIs and make them backward compatible
• Translate business requirements into scalable and extensible design
• Create platforms, reusable libraries and utilities wherever applicable
• Continuously refactor applications to ensure high-quality design
• Choose the right technology stack for the product systems/subsystems

• Very strong object-oriented design skills, awareness of design patterns and architectural patterns
• Performance tuning and Troubleshooting memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic skills and data structures
• Experience in agile methodologies like Scrum
• Good understanding of branching, build, deployment, continuous integration methodologies
• Experience in leading a team (min 5)and mentoring engineers
