Sales & Marketing Engineer – Defence & Industrial Electronics

Role Overview:

Responsible for leading all HR functions at the plant, including manpower planning, recruitment, industrial relations, employee engagement, statutory compliance, and coordination with corporate HR. Ensures smooth HR operations supporting plant productivity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HR operations 

• Partner with operations leadership to align manpower with production targets.

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff, operators, and technical positions.

• Develop and implement HR policies and systems aligned with corporate standards.

• Drive performance management, appraisals, and competency mapping.

• Handle industrial relations, grievance redressal, and union communication (if applicable).

• Ensure statutory compliance – Factories Act, ESI, PF, labour laws, etc.

• Oversee time office, attendance, and payroll coordination.

• Lead employee engagement, retention, and welfare initiatives.

• Coordinate with finance for cost tracking and HR budgeting.

• Mentor and guide junior HR staff at the plant.

QA Engineer:

 Job Description:

1. Prepare QAP: Prepare stages of inspection based on material, end use of the product, Inspect ability, past experience

2.  Inspection of raw material at the supplier end.

3. Product identification & traceability: Ensure that all equipment, and facilities for tests specified in QAPs can be conducted either on an approved laboratory or approved subcontractor

4. Conduct stage Inspection as per QAP and record results.

5. Prepare the final inspection report

6. Identify the need for calibration for the instrument and enter details in the calibration register.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
2. Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
3. Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.
4. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
5. Develop and maintain documentation, including business process models, use cases, user stories, and requirements specifications.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
7. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate findings, solicit feedback, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
8. Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA analysts to ensure successful implementation and testing of solutions.
9. Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, and recommend adjustments or enhancements as needed.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and process improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
3. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data from multiple sources.
4. Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirements elicitation.
5. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
7. Experience with business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
10. Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is preferred but not required.

• Possesses a proficient level understanding of business analysis professional standards, business processes, workflows, methodologies and leading practices.
• Understands Project/Product Vision and Objectives and articulates the same to internal and external stakeholders
• Identifies and characterizes Product Users and other connected Internal and External stakeholders
• Gathers Product Requirements through techniques including Surveys, Workshops, Interviews, Site Visits etc.
• Assists the Product Owner by Analyzing, modularizing and documenting requirements in the form of Epics/Features, User Stories, Scenarios and other such industry-standard formats
• Helps detail out functional and non-functional requirements through modeling to enable easy comprehension by the development teams
• Assists the UI/UX teams to ensure functionality and product objectives are met/enhanced - Performs proxy user validation and acceptance testing at various logical milestones in the Product Development life cycle
• Monitor business analysis activities to ensure the traceability and optimum coverage of business requirements with change request backlog.
• Collaborates with application developers, designers, and architects to ensure a shared understanding of the business model and the detailed functional requirements.
• Manages the progress of projects by tracking activity, resolving issues, and recommending actions; Provides senior management and project management with regular updates on the deliverable timeline and project status.

• Play a critical role in managing the helpdesk tickets. Work with the clients to understand and prioritize needs while proactively suggesting future enhancements and improvements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure solutions are defect-free and achieve design requirements.

• Validates requirements to conform to Correctness, Completeness and Consistency and obtains sign-off from all stakeholders, by leveraging well-documented and comprehensive Acceptance Criteria and peer reviews.
• Responsible for product quality, project timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Leads or Assists in sales and pre-sales activities including the creation of sales material and product demos
• Responds proactively to both business and project issues and escalates appropriately.

• Balance multiple priorities and deliverables to maintain forward progress and ensure customer expectations are met
• Provide and maintain all project-related documentation including business requirements, workflows, active communication updates, procedures and approvals
• Analyzing market trends to develop strategies that improve sales productivity for the organization.
• Identify business areas that can be improved to increase efficiency and strengthen business processes.
