Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing plans aligned with defined revenue targets.
- Drive product positioning and go-to-market strategies across industrial and defence sectors.
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Independently identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking.
Campaign Management
- Design, implement, and track marketing campaigns across digital, direct, and channel-based platforms.
- Optimize campaigns based on performance metrics and ROI analysis.
Client Relationship Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the product line.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Provide insights to refine pricing, positioning, and sales strategies.
Sales Presentations & Deal Closure
- Deliver persuasive product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to senior decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, Technical Heads).
- Lead negotiations and close high-value, complex deals.
Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report KPIs including lead conversion rates, demo-to-close ratios, and marketing ROI using CRM and analytics tools.
Defence Sector Engagement
- Stay updated on ongoing and upcoming defence projects.
- Identify opportunities with DRDO, PSUs (BEL, BEML, ECIL, HAL, HVF, etc.), and private defence manufacturers.
- Pitch company products for integration into defence and aerospace applications.
Key Skills & Qualifications (2026 Standards)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Communication) or MBA.
Experience
- 2–3 years of proven success in B2B or B2C sales and/or marketing roles.
Technical Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools, MS Office, and sales analytics platforms.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience with defence products, defence PSUs, or regulated industrial sectors is highly desirable.
