About the role

We are looking for talented Senior Backend Engineers (5+ years of experience) to join our team and take ownership of different parts of our stack. You will be working alongside a team of Engineers locally and directly with the U.S. Engineering team on all aspects of product/application development. You will leverage your experiences and abilities to inform decisions across product development and technology. You will help us build the foundation of our 2nd Headquarters in Pune: its culture, its processes, and its practices. There are a ton of interesting problems to solve, so come hungry. Rupayya (www.rupayya.com) is looking for a passionate and skilled iOS Developer with 2–4 years of experience in building high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Swift, a good understanding of iOS frameworks, and the ability to deliver scalable and performant applications.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift / Objective-C
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers

Key Responsibilities: 

• Rewrite existing APIs in NodeJS. 
• Remodel the APIs into Micro services-based architecture. 
• Implement a caching layer wherever possible. 
• Optimize the API for high performance and scalability. 
• Write unit tests for API Testing.
• Automate the code testing and deployment process.

Skills Required: 

• At least 2 years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS — should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds. 
• Excellent hands-on experience using MySQL or any other SQL Database.

Technical Leader reporting to the CTO/CEO. Your responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

1. Architecting, Designing and Developing Software Programmes based on requirements provided
2. Designing and Developing with a high quality of code that is modular, scalable and re-usable at all times
3. Promote SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) to ensure all of the services are Highly-Available and Fault Tolerant at all times
4. Communicate effectively the system requirements to other software development teams
5. Involve pro-actively with client and their requirements
6. Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
7. Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members
8. Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
9. Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
10. Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions

• Looking for a talented PHP Developer having experience in writing clean PHP code, having additional experience in Python/NodeJs and HTML, CSS, JS
• Someone very good at understanding requirements and developing services & features quickly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Having good attention to detail & requirements.
• Building software applications in PHP (mostly) and Python/Nodejs api-services.
• Creating web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or VueJs.
• Developing applications using best design and coding practices.
• Writing, maintaining & upgrading middleware & back-end code and building efficient PHP and Python/Nodejs modules & services.

Key Requirements :

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Must have Experience in PHP (Lumen & Laravel).
• Experience in either Python/Nodejs api development.
• Experience with Utils/Standards: REST, Swagger, JSON Schema.
• Experience in Web Page development - HTML, CSS, JS. Knowledge of VueJS will be a plus.
• Experience in creating scalable service-oriented & serverless applications.
• Experience with secure coding.
• Proficient BitBucket and Git.
• Should be experienced in following Agile methodologies. Tools - Jira & Confluence.
• Must have experience in Postgresql, MySql, MongoDB and Redis.
