Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SDET with strong expertise in API Testing and BDD Karate framework. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing using Karate BDD, strong Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming skills, and experience in developing and maintaining API automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for REST APIs using BDD Karate framework.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end API testing.
• Develop and maintain reusable API automation test frameworks and test scenarios.
• Analyze API requirements, specifications, and business workflows to create effective test cases.
• Use Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming concepts for test automation development.
• Execute test suites, analyze failures, and identify defects.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test reporting.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where required.
• Ensure quality and reliability of APIs through comprehensive automation coverage.
• Exposure to Performance Testing will be an added advantage.

Mandatory Skills

• 5–6 years of experience in SDET / Automation Testing

Objective of the Role:

We are looking for top-notch SDET with 1 - 4 years of experience, who will deliver on key initiatives, starting from the ideation phase all the way to development and product delivery

You Will :

• Development of iOS/Android test automation on mobile test harnesses
• Develop and enhance to the existing automation scripts, tools and framework using Java, TestNG and Appium

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience

We have an SDET SDE3 opportunity with a fintech project. Which is a digital financial super app serving the West African market. The position is initially for 3 months on C2H and will be completely remote during the contractual period. After successful conversion, the role will be based out of Pune and will require 5 days of work from office.

The client is specifically looking for candidates who are currently working as SDETs and have strong coding or development experience.
