Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building microservices, implementing event-driven architectures, and working with distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
• Build and manage event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate applications with databases and third-party systems.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups).
• Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, collections, and JVM concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing software on the product to enhance current functionality and add new features. Lead the technical delivery of assigned tasks/projects.
• Consistent coordination and collaboration with the Backend, AI, Product and QA team for efficient development cycles and testing for new features and improvements.
