Job Overview

TechnoToil is looking for a motivated Backend Developer Trainee who is eager to learn, build scalable applications, and work with modern backend technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong learning attitude and be comfortable using AI tools in development workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities :- 

• Develop and maintain backend applications and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Work with databases and perform basic database operations.
• Assist in developing, testing, debugging, and optimizing backend functionality.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services as required.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members.
• Use AI tools to improve coding, debugging, documentation, and development productivity.
• Learn and adapt to new backend technologies and development practices.
• Follow coding standards and development best practices.

Requirements:-

• Graduation must be completed.
• 0–6 months of experience; freshers and trainees are welcome.
• Basic understanding of backend development concepts.
• Knowledge of any backend programming language/framework is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow.
• Candidate must be comfortable working with AI tools as part of the development process.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable backend services

using Python.

● Own technical direction and architectural decisions for backend systems and services.

● Design and build robust RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

capable of handling high-scale workloads.

● Design and implement real-time communication systems, including WebSocket-based

services, where required.

● Drive system performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security.

● Lead performance optimization, capacity planning, monitoring, debugging, and

production issue resolution.

● Establish and promote best practices around code quality, testing, observability, CI/CD,

and production readiness.

● Collaborate closely with frontend, product, DevOps, infrastructure, and other

cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

● Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, contributing to overall team growth

and engineering excellence.

● Review code and architecture designs, identify technical risks, and drive improvements

across backend systems.

● Take ownership of complex technical problems and deliver reliable, maintainable,

production-grade solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant experience in backend

development.

● Strong expertise in Python and experience building production-grade backend

applications.

● Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices

architectures.

● Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, fault tolerance, and

high-availability architectures.

● Hands-on experience with WebSockets and real-time backend integrations.

● Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching systems, and data-intensive

applications.

● Experience with performance optimization, monitoring, logging, debugging, and

production operations.

● Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean

architecture.

● Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and make sound architectural decisions.

● Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.

● Experience mentoring engineers and conducting effective code and design reviews.

What are you required to do ? (Your Responsibilities) :

• Proactively maintain and develop all linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24*7*365 uptime service.
• Engineering of systems administration-related various solutions for our various SAAS products and projects as well as operational needs.
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
• Providing technical support to customers for Applications, Operating systems, and networking.
• Will also be the first point of contact for our clients, where installations are placed on a permanent basis, for basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.
• Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.

Skills & Qualification Required (Add Value) :

• Graduate - Preferred to have Bachelor‘s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• He / She should be familiar with the installation and configuration of Linux operating systems and setup and operation of TCP/IP networking on Linux systems also familiar with Internet concepts including SMTP, IMAP, POP, HTTP, DNS, LDAP and related protocols.
• You should possess excellent communication skills .
• Knowledge of Email concepts, Helpdesk Concept , VoIP Concept , Cloud computing will be an added advantage.
