Job Description

• Designation- Sr. System Test Engineer
• Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Mechatronics / MSc Electronics, Electrical
• Experience: 6-10 years.
• Location: Pune.
• Work Mode: Hybrid (1-day WFH, 4-days from Office)

A. Skills & Technologies:

Mandatory:

• PLC Programming in Ladder/Structured Text/Function blocks.
• Configuring and commissioning Servo Drives, VFDs & Inverters.
• Experienced in Motion Control Programming in PLC for servo drives.
• Experience in Robotic (Drive Groups, Multi-Axes) programming in PLC.
• Design and Commissioning experience for Machine automation and turnkey projects,
• (including but not limited to Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) / Site Acceptance Test (SAT)).
• Hands On with one or more Fieldbus technologies (like Ethernet/IP, PROFINET,
• EtherCAT, Ethernet PowerLINK, CAN, PROFIBUS, ControlNET, DeviceNET).
• Configuring of PLC Backplane IOs and Remote IOs on Fieldbus.

Desirable:

• Electrical Wiring Design for Control panels.
• Experience in Manual testing.

C. Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and execute tests on complete automation system.
• Test motion, robotics related Function blocks in PLC code, before release to market.

6years of Hands‑on experience in PLC programming.

6years of Hands‑on experience in configuring and commissioning Servo Drives and VFDs.

6years of Hands‑on experience in motion control programming in PLC for servo drives.

·       Experience in SQL, Database Design, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning etc.

·       Extensive knowledge of data processing, relational databases systems (Oracle and Oracle19C preferred ).

·       Strong analytical skills, analysing existing databases and the client’s needs going forward with regard to developing effective systems.

·       Good communication skills, both oral and written.

·       Sound accuracy and logic. Must be able to accurately develop databases in a logical manner from scratch.

·       Understand the concepts of other programming languages.

·       Understand the concepts of other front-end programming languages.

1. Developing HMI application in Qt or similar UI frameworks
2. Develop C++ or Rust backends for the HMI
3. Understand and optimize potential performance bottlenecks

Mandatory Skills

-Must have experience and Good understanding about pointers & memory in C/C++

-Must have experience in Unix/Linux IPC (semaphore, shared memory, socket, multi thread)

-Must have Debug skills : gdb, coredump analysis, network packet analysis

-Must have experience in Source code syntax parser (Preferably lex, yacc, bison, etc.)

-Must have worked on build tools : Makefiles, make, etc.

-Database : Preferably Oracle Good at SQL and stored procedures

Optional Skills

-Telegram development using C/C++

-Finance/Industry domain knowledge

-Japanese speaking skills

• Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and report RCA, propose solutions(how to fix)
• Debug identified problems and provide fixes swiftly
• Ability to write clear and concise documentation
• To understand and maintain legacy codebase
• Individual contributor, but also works closely with junior developers
• Review source code developed by peers
• Proactive to suggest and implement improvements on current products
• Design and develop new features based on requirement document
