React.js Developer

Position Overview:

As a Lead Frontend Developer at F22 Labs, you will take charge of designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications using React, Next.js, and Typescript. You will lead a talented team of frontend developers while working alongside product and backend teams to deliver innovative solutions. You’ll ensure that we adhere to best practices in UI design, performance optimization, and code quality. Your leadership will help us shape the future of our web products, while continuously improving the user experience and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and ensuring the team follows best practices.
• Architect and design scalable, high-performance web applications using ReactJS, NextJS, and Typescript.
• Drive the development process with a focus on performance, optimization, and maintainability.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline the development lifecycle.
• Oversee the integration of GraphQL to ensure smooth data management between the frontend and backend.
• Create high-quality, responsive UI/UX using Tailwind CSS, delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Ensure that the team follows best practices for testing (Jest, Vitest, Cypress) and continuously improve our test coverage.
• Take ownership of state management using tools like Redux or Zustand, ensuring consistency and performance across the app.
• Optimize web performance by implementing best practices, improving load times, and enhancing the overall user experience.
• Guide the team in implementing SEO best practices to ensure applications are discoverable and performant.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and backend teams to deliver features that meet both technical and user requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI/UX issues quickly and effectively.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and ensuring the team remains at the forefront of frontend technologies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with ReactJS, NextJS, and Typescript, with a proven track record of leading frontend projects.
• Strong understanding of DOM manipulation and best practices for building interactive, dynamic user interfaces.
• Expertise with module bundlers such as Webpack or Vite for optimizing the build process.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions for automating deployment processes.
• Extensive experience working with GraphQL and integrating it into frontend applications.
• Expertise in Tailwind CSS for building responsive and visually appealing web applications.
• Solid experience in unit testing (Jest, Vitest) and end-to-end testing (Cypress).
• Advanced experience with state management frameworks like Redux or Zustand.
• Deep knowledge of performance optimization techniques and how to apply them in real-world scenarios.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and implementing them in frontend projects.
• Proven leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to guide teams and foster growth.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have Skills (Extra Cool Points!):

• Familiarity with Websockets for real-time communication.
• Experience with WebRTC for building real-time video/audio applications.
• Familiarity with Framer Motion for creating animations in React.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestrating deployment processes.

4+ years of experience building Front end web applications

• Deep understanding of the ReactJS, Redux state container, Webpack module bundler
• Delivery of technical solutions with clean, well-tested code
• Be an active part of the engineering community team and collaborating with other developers
• You have solid experience working in an agile development environment
• Good JavaScript experience including asynchronous programming, pec closures, types, and ES6
• Demonstrable experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
• HTML 5 and CSS 3 as part of theming real-world projects
• Understanding of pre-processed CSS platforms such as Sass or Less.
• Proficiency in UI Prototyping Tools like Invision, Sketch, Adobe Experience Design etc.
• Good knowledge of responsive web design and experience with Git or other source control systems
• Knowledgeable and experienced with micro-service architecture
• Strong ability to debug code

Skills

• Have published at least one original React JS Application.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.

Roles 

Should be able to single-handedly build performant mobile apps on the React JS platform. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities 

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across web platforms.
• Leverage APIs for deep integrations with web platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following react.js workflows.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.

• Building of user-facing elements and Integration
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and real time applications
• Architecting applications and strategizing them to be scalable for traffic.
• Identifying and working on new innovations which can relate to any kind of technology

• 2-3 years of experience with JavaScript, JQuery, Node.js
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, SASS
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Job Description:

The UI Engineer(4-7)  will design; develop front-end for AgroStar product solutions.

 Key areas of responsibility:

1. Responsible for core UI framework, implements and maintains it.
2. Operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes.
3. Responsible for the development of the front-end applications and components.
4. Responsible for architecture & design of the product.
5. Co-ordinate with the backend engineers & designers for requirement gathering of the product.
6. Responsible for creating POCs to design a scalable system.
7. Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
8. Responsible for quality assurance including web usability, accessibility, testing and debugging.

 As an ideal ‘Agstar UI Engineer’, you will need:

 3-7 years of prior hands-on experience in building responsive web interfaces for consumers

Significant experience with Git and GitHub including managing branches, merges, and administration

Ability to translate product requirements into functional code.

Ability to estimate the scope of work for sprint planning.

Top-notch programming skills.

Self-motivated and able to work in a small team with minimal supervision

Strong development experience on the following technologies -

HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX,  working with REST APIs.

Must be fluent in writing code in  ES6+ along with linters.

CSS preprocessor - SCSS/ LESS.

Front end frameworks/library such as ReactJS, Redux.

Web standards, Responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility, SEO, Accessibility.

• MS or BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 9+ years (or more) experience shipping quality code
• 4+ years’ experience with leading frontend frameworks like Angular 1 to 8 or ReactJS, etc.
• Experience on Ionic Framework, Cardova
• Experience contributing front-end code to a publicly available, consumer-focused web application.
• Solid experience and understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript (vanilla JS and popular libraries like Underscore.js and jQuery)
