JOB TITLE - SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles and Responsibilities

·      Developing Content Management System.

·      Designing and building the website front-end.

·      You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.

·      Building wireframes and designs for website before execution.

·      Ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience, Able to interact with team and understand functional requirements and create design documents for new features.

·      To work in teams alongside back-end developers, graphic designers, and user experience designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent.

·      Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages for e.g., HTML, CSS, JS

·      Review app and feature coding and plan future website upgrades with the development team.

·      Troubleshooting content issues.

·      Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

·      Generating WordPress themes and plugins.

·      Conducting website performance tests.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

·      Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.

·      Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

·      Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.

·      Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.

·      Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.

·      Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

·      Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.

·      Excellent communication and teamwork skills

·      Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.

·      Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

We are looking for a Frontend UI Developer to translate UI/UX designs and/or wireframes into User Interfaces using HTML, CSS, Javascript and jquery. He/ she will be responsible for a pixel-perfect conversion of the defined layout. They need to be competent with responsive coding/adaptation to ensure the correct rendering of the design when viewed on various formats including web, mobile, etc. The Front-end coding resource also needs to be familiar with design conventions and best practices and needs to follow the same to write easily scalable code

Responsibilities:

• Work on design and develop scalable solutions using efficient Design Patterns
• Adept in handling Non-functional requirements (performance etc.)
• Excellent aesthetic capability with UX designing and development experience
• Have a good understanding of all aspects of the application like rendering big datasets, fetching data using and authentication.
• Identify improvement areas within the application and work to implement the same
• Flexibility in adapting to team requirements

Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of UX and responsive UI design with an emphasis on intuitive design
• Ability to write cross-browser and standards-compliant code that meets flexibility, scalability, and performance requirements
• Highly skilled at front-end engineering using a client-side technology stack including AngularJS, JQuery, HTML, CSS
• 5+ experience in Angular developing responsive Single Page application
• Experience working with REST API
• Experience working with JSON
• Experience with SVN/Git, Node.JS
• Knowledge of Agile and/or SCRUM methodologies
• Dedicated, self-driven and willing to take responsibility and ownership of the application
• Strong Problem identifying and solving ability and excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full Time, Onsite

• 3 to 5 years of experience in UI Development and hands on experience on Angular2 or Angular 2+, Node etc.
• Exposure to cross browser compatibility issues, SCSS as the CSS macro-processor, sprites etc.
• Experience with Jira, SVN, Git will be added advantage
• Passionate and eager to learn new technologies
• Intimately knowledgeable about all things web and mobile
• Demo able portfolio on website or GitHub will be given preference
• Must have knowledge on Java script, jQuery, ECMAScript
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) or TypeScript
• Familiarities with modern JavaScript tools, like npm and webpack
• Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Experience building JavaScript/CSS Frameworks or shared component libraries used in large scale production websites.
• Understands frontend software design patterns (e.g. asynchronicity, data binding, modules, objects, promises).
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Working with MVVM, MVP, MVC patterns

Requirements

• Convert design to Angular 5 components
• Use SCSS as the CSS macroprocessor
• Integrate the Angular services with APIs from the backend team
• Implement UI development best practices to write optimized and non-buggy code
• Work in Agile environment with sprint releases ranging from 2 to 4 weeks
• Feasibility study of requirement and suggest multiple approaches for a problem after sufficient RnD
• Keep abreast with trending recent UI tools, technologies, plugins and software in the industry
• “Roll-up your sleeves” attitude to get things done
• Test your screens using a tool for all browsers and resolution compatibility
• Handle and track tasks assigned using Agile methodology
