React.js Developer

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our engineering team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality web applications, collaborating with designers and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Implementation

• Build responsive, performant web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Implement pixel-perfect UI designs from mockups and wireframes
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across devices and browsers
• Integrate RESTful APIs and work with backend teams to define API requirements

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional interfaces
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
• Contribute to technical discussions and help make architectural decisions

Quality & Maintenance

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices
• Improve existing codebases through refactoring and optimization

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Angular)
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) or CSS-in-JS solutions
• Knowledge of modern build tools and package managers (Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn)
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, Zustand)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields preferred.

* 8+ years of experience developing core Java applications across enterprise, SME, or start-up

environments.

* Proven experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

* Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful API development.

* Experience in designing, building, and monitoring microservices.

* Solid background in persistence technologies including JPA, Hibernate, MS-SQL, and

PostgreSQL.

* Proficient in Java 11+, including features like Streams, Lambdas, and Functional

Programming.

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or

AWS DevOps.

* Familiarity with major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred).

* Front-end development experience using React or Angular with good understanding of

leveraging best practices around HTML, CSS3/Tailwind, Responsive designs.

* Comfortable in Agile environments with iterative development and regular demos.

* Experience with container orchestration using Managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).

* Working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) concepts.

* Hands-on experience integrating applications with cloud services.

* Familiarity with event-driven technologies (e.g., Kafka, MQ, Event Buses).

* Hospitality services domain experience is a plus.

* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

• Looking for a Software developer who will work on the product's Web UI side
• Hands on and working experience with React JS
• Experience in WebUI using Javascript technology.
• Experience: 2-4 years of React development in a team environment

• Preceding experience with ReactJS workflows like Flux, Redux, Create React App, data structure libraries
• Understanding of RESTful APIs/GraphQL, HTML/CSS, ES6 (variables and scoping, array methods), code versioning tools like GIT, SVN, etc., popular frontend development tools, CI/CD tools, DevOps, performance testing frameworks like Mocha, Node + NPM
• Preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar

•  6+ years of web UI development experience including 4+ years of deep, hands on experience in building robust, highly reusable and responsive web applications using HTML, CSS3, SVG, React, Redux, Thunk ecosystem
• Great problem-solving skills with solid data structures and algorithms knowledge
• Strong ability to translate the design/wireframes into reusable micro components
• Experience of leading, coaching and mentoring junior developers with good delegation and time-management skills
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles and has extensively worked with Redux, Thunk, Axios etc
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, Oauth2 etc
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• A knack for perfection, benchmarking and optimization
• Writing and maintaining batch jobs to streamline processes (Shell, Perl etc).
