React Native Developer

Job Summary

iCloudEMS is looking for a highly skilled PHP Backend Developer with strong experience in web application development and hands-on expertise in React Native for mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend systems, integrating APIs, and collaborating closely with frontend and mobile teams to deliver high-quality education management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based backend web applications

Build and manage RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications

Integrate backend services with React Native mobile applications

Optimize application performance, security, and scalability

Work with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for data modeling and query optimization

Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and QA teams

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications

Follow coding standards, best practices, and documentation guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in Core PHP / Laravel / CodeIgniter

Solid understanding of backend architecture and MVC frameworks

Hands-on experience in React Native (Android & iOS)

Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations

Proficiency in MySQL and complex SQL queries

Knowledge of server-side security (JWT, OAuth, data protection)

Familiarity with Git / GitHub / Bitbucket

Experience with payment gateways, notifications, and background jobs

Understanding of web hosting, deployment, and server management (Linux)

Good to Have

Experience in education domain / ERP / CRM/HRMS/EMS platforms

Knowledge of Node.js or other backend technologies

Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Basic understanding of UI/UX principles

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development team and ensure projects are completed smoothly and on schedule.
• Stay ahead of the game by finding and using new technologies to boost the business.
• Work hand in hand with the crore team to figure out their needs and keep our products on point with the market trends.
• Keep our products high quality, scalable and secure.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to track progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Brainstorm and plan the company's tech strategy with the CTO and other important leaders.
• Keep up to date with the latest tech trends and find new growth opportunities.
• Give the development team technical guidance and be a mentor to them.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ Years of experience leading software development teams with a track record of delivering complex products.
• Technical know-how and experience with the latest software development tech.
• Proven experience in identifying and implementing new technologies to drive business results.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Implement new features while maintaining overall quality of software
• Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as a developer on an agile squad
• Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating in code reviews, and sharing knowledge
• Remain current on relevant technology trends
• Participate in researching and resolving customer issues
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Proficient in native development with Swift and Objective-C
• Experience building interface components and experiences using Swift UI and WebKit and understanding their limitations
• Knowledge and experience working with the MVVM design pattern
• Prior experience with knowledge of Git and GitHub
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guideline
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with security best practices for software development

Key responsibilities: 

• 1-2 years experience in React-Native based app development
• 1-3 years experience in Mobile app development (React-Native + iOS)
• Hands on experience in Redux
• Knows how to embed React-Native in a native (iOS/Android) component and vice versa
• Strong hold on JS/ CSS fundamentals
• Development experience of UI (layouts, animations, etc.) 
• Experience of customizing libraries
• Good understanding of Design and Architecture Patterns 
• Strong focus on app performance

Must have:

• Experience in iOS development
• Willingness to learn and work in React Native 

Good to have:

• Experience in unit testing 

We are looking for an Android developer who has hands-on experience in coding, building technology blocks, help answer choice of certain platform/tech over others, help the team visualize the product with the available resources and assets. 

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and test functionality for the latest app design.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.
• Take requirements and specs from design to development and be the first line of quality assurance.
• Understand user requirements—these apps have to meet real-world scenarios.
• Support the Supersub Mobile application in its entirety, including working on bug fixes and improving application performance, reliability and stability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years of Kotlin Android development preferred.
• Solid Firebase & Firestore experience.
• Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance timeline vs features, while not sacrificing quality, and all within a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive knowledge in object-oriented software development, various architecture such as MVC/MVVM/MVP, multithreading, networking and memory management.
• Knowledge of standard Android libraries and frameworks.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Android SDK, including relevant frameworks, such as testing and mocking frameworks, REST clients, dependency injection, etc.

• 3 years of experience in mobile development on React Native
• Experience in design, development, and deployment of mobile apps
• Experience with embedded relational databases (SQLite)
• Knowledge of Restful Web-Services, JSON, HTTP, Networking protocols
• Experience with any Apk and iOS builder with strong skills in JavaScript, React native.
• Experience on JavaScript,HTML,CSS, NPM, Android, iOS,
• Hybrid, Ionic, Angular 2+, Typescript, Webpack, GruntJS, GulpJS.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in react native, javascript, HTML,CSS
• This project requires experience with:
• Well versed in kotlin/swift/react-native/js and react environment.3+ years experienced
• Good knowledge of SDLC.
• Good knowledge of any database SQL/mongo etc.
