Role Overview

As a Senior Software Crafter at Incubyte, you are a highly competent engineer who leads complex projects and drives strong technical outcomes at a project or team level. The role focuses on elevating technical quality, guiding teams through high-impact challenges, and strengthening engineering maturity through mentorship and candid feedback. 

At this level, you play a key role in resolving critical incidents, leading large improvement initiatives, and contributing to domain or guild efforts that create positive, lasting change across Incubyte.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• ⁠6+ years of hands-on software development experience, particularly in ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• A curious and constant learning mindset that looks at tech to an end to solve problems.

Skills required :

• Strong knowledge of javascript programming, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, ES6 Strong knowledge of modern responsive design techniques
• Strong knowledge of stateless microservices (node/java/etc..), HTTPS/REST, JSON, Webpack/Grunt/Gulp
• Very good understanding and implementation experience of web application UI using OpenID Connect login/authentication
• Version Control – Git, CI/CD of UI projects(e.g. CircleCI, Travis CI, Jenkins), configuration and deployment of static UI assets

Must have skills :

• Must have at least 4 years of industry experience in white labeled Front End web application design & development
• Experience in Test Driven Development, Front End testing and performance optimization (e.g. Jest, unit testing, end-to-end testing)

Key responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Frontend Developer with a strong focus on React JS. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user-friendly, high-performance web applications. You will be working closely with our team of designers, developers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality digital products.

Responsibilities:

Develop new user-facing features using React JS

Build reusable components and libraries for future use

Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development

Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects

Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise in production environments

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

At least 3 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React JS

Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies

Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Portfolio of previous work demonstrating proficiency in React JS

• Building Progressive Web App components and features for the companys advanced health-tech platform using React Js, Node Js
• Communicating effectively in a cross-functional product development team and presenting ideas and solutions effectively.

Responsibilities:          

• Designing and developing user interfaces using AngularJS/Angular best practices.
• Adapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies.
• Writing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Developing product analysis tasks.
• Making complex technical and design decisions for AngularJS/Angular projects.
• Developing application codes and unit tests in AngularJS, Angular, Micro-frontend architecture, and Rest Web Services.
• Conducting performance tests.
• Consulting with the design team.
• Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support.

Qualifications   

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related background
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience with JavaScript (Particularly ES6), Typescript, CSS, HTML.
• 2+ years’ experience with Angular v9 or greater.
• Experience using JavaScript building tools like Grunt and Webpack.
• Client-side unit testing via Jest or similar testing library a plus
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs is strongly desired
• Experience working in agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, FDD)
• Excellent communication skills.
• Critical thinker and good problem-solver.

• Write, test, debug and ship code and gather feedback on the scale, performance, security to incorporate back into the platform. 

• Work with the founders to identify complex technical problems and solve them. 
• Work with the product design and client experience development team to support 

them with scalable services 

• Feed into the overall mission and vision of the eParchi’s platform over the period of the coming months and years.
