About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer with expertise in Java, Spark, and microservices architecture to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented programming, experience with Spark Streaming, and a deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable microservices and optimized RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Java 8+.
• Implement and optimize Spark Streaming applications for real-time data processing.
• Utilize advanced Java 8 features, including:
• Functional interfaces & Lambda expressions
• Streams and Parallel Streams
• Completable Futures & Concurrency API improvements
• Enhanced Collections APIs
• Work with relational (SQL) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB) databases, ensuring efficient data modeling and retrieval.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and related automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Business, and Automation, to deliver end-to-end product features.
• Ensure adherence to Agile Scrum practices and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Deploy and manage applications in Azure Cloud environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ Years of experience developing backend applications with Spring Boot and Java 8+.
• 3+ Years of hands-on experience with Git for version control.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and distributed computing principles.
• Experience with Maven for building and deploying artifacts.
• Proven ability to work in Agile Scrum environments with a collaborative team mindset.
• Prior experience with Azure Cloud Technologies.

Profile - Ruby On Rails Developer 

Experience - 1 year to 8 years

Location - Indore | Full time | Onsite 

• Designing and developing Ruby on Rails web applications/webservices in an agile environment

• Implement AJAX features and functionality using Javascript Integrate and optimise HTML/CSS front-ends Solid experience with RoR, MySQL/Cassandra, Shell Scripting Strong experience in Angular, Javascript, HTML/CSS and web services
• Working experience in using Jquery and D3 Experience in converting UI/UX design to HTML elements/assets
• Experience with SCRUM or equivalent Agile development methodologies
• A good understanding of usability and accessibility, including coding to WAI standards

• Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.

• Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.
• Integrating data storage solutions.
• Creating back-end components.
• Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
• Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
• Connecting applications with additional web servers.
• Maintaining APIs.

Ruby on Rails Developer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Must have more than 6 months+ in depth experience in Ruby on Rails
• Experience working with ruby on rails as well as libraries like Resque and RSpec.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming
• Ability to write clean ruby code.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git, Github, SVN, and Mercurial.
• Understanding of web services technologies such as REST is required.
• Good experience and understanding of continuous integration and deployment process.
• Knowledge in working with AWS or other cloud platform
• Experience in working with limited direction while exceeding delivery expectations.
• Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS.
• Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages including Slim and Liquid.

• Good experience with Elixir and functional programming a plus

Roles/Responsibilities

• Own the coding/design of a sub-module
• Review the requirements and provide simple solutions  
• Design the sub-module working with the tech-lead
• Hands-on code the critical parts of the module
• Ensure coding standards, proper design patterns, writing test cases and project mgmt processes are followed
• Mentor the junior programmers
• Peer and junior programmers code review
• Work independently and proactively to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance
