Job Description – Front End QA Automation Engineer (Payments Domain)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Front End QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in eCommerce testing, payment gateway validation, and front-end automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience testing Salesforce Commerce/eCommerce applications, validating payment workflows, and building robust UI automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications.
• Validate end-to-end payment gateway and payment processor integrations.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI automation testing.
• Test Salesforce eCommerce applications and customer-facing web experiences.
• Execute SQL queries to validate backend data and transactional integrity.
• Develop and enhance automation scripts using Python.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of Quality Engineering / QA Automation experience.
• Strong experience in Front-End Web Automation.
• Hands-on experience testing Salesforce eCommerce applications.
• Experience validating payment gateways and payment processors.
• Strong SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with web application testing, regression testing, and CI/CD environments.
• Good understanding of Agile development methodologies. 

MERN Stack Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

Frontend Skills: Proficiency in React (Hooks, Redux, Context API), JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind/Bootstrap.

Backend & APIs: Building scalable microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication & authorization flows.

Database & Cloud: Expertise in NoSQL (MongoDB) and deployment on AWS/GCP/Azure with CI/CD pipelines.

Fintech/Payments Domain:

• Payment Gateway Integrations (Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, CCAvenue, BillDesk).
• Banking APIs (UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, NACH) for Pay-In / Payout solutions.
• Knowledge of reconciliation, settlements, fraud detection, KYC/AML, PCI-DSS compliance.

Gaming Domain Exposure (Preferred):

• In-app purchase systems, wallets, tokens/credits, reward points.
• Real-time payment flows in multiplayer or gaming platforms.

Problem Solving: Ability to design, develop, and deploy independently from Day 1 with minimal supervision.

1.Provide post-sale support to clients by guiding them through payment schedules, cost breakdowns, and ensuring a smooth transition after the purchase of property/.

2. Manage communication between clients and internal teams to resolve issues related to payments, contracts, and delivery.

3. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive timely updates on payment due dates and outstanding balances.

4. Address and resolve client concern promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

5.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payments, invoices, and financial transactions.

6.Assist clients in understanding the terms of their contracts and coordinate with the finance team for accurate billing and invoicing.

7.Develop educational materials to explain complex processes such as payment terms, contract terms, or maintenance schedules.

8. Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, proactive outreach, and personalized attention.

• Compiling the design and development of animation projects, coordinating with designers for obtaining their specific requirements, and developing animation shots accordingly

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in creating Flash Animations and videos preferably in EdTech/ Social Sector/ Education/ E-Learning sector
• Hands-on experience in Adobe Flash is mandatory
• Work experience on multiple assignments and projects on a full-time role
• Hands on experience and knowledge in various design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, After Effects will be required
• Experience of editing video files in Flash including editing of audio, visual elements, screen text and creating the final output as per the requirements
• Experience of creating a new video using visual components, merging of audio files and text that appears on the video
• Excellent communication skills including flawless writing in terms of using the text content in the creatives

UI Developer :

Experience in developing Web Applications/websites using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap4 or above is essential

Experience in CSS preprocessors like Less, Sass

Experience in tailwind CSS is a must (config, create custom util function)

Experience in the latest design principles and animations is essential

Experience in Photoshop / Sketch tools and collaborative products like Invision / Figma is desirable
